Springbrook Golf Course

Course was in good condition. Greens are being aerated. Played from the tips and proved to be challenging. $17 per person is a mega bargain for this course. Pace of play was very good. My son and I finished in 3.5.

Friendly staffs, they get you play fast. Very well maintain.

Good course, the only thing is that is only the last week of september and the tree leaves are getting out of control, i had problems finding my ball even in the fairways, other than that is ok.

Championship course that offers fun challenges. The course is in excellent condition- get out and play a round before winter comes!

The course was very challenging. Haven't played there in about 15 years. Hit the fairways or else you will be in US Open rough. Greens need to be maintained a little better, many ball marks.

This course will test you in all areas of your game. Be ready for a tough day but in a beautiful setting.

Excellent greens. Not a typical municipal course. Good value for money.

Took over 5 hours to play 16 holes. Course booked an outing on a Saturday with no rangers in sght.. Four foursomes on teebox on hole 7. Still no rangers to be seen. Saw a ranger at #16 and he said municipal golf was all about generating revenue. Apparently they don't realize overbooking a course will lead to people not returning, which leads to loss of revenue. Greens were in poor shape. I will not be returning.

Chose this course because they offered a last minute deal. Course was great. Crisp edges on sand, nice greens and fairways. Will definitely return.

If you are looking for a highly difficult, high end, expensive golf experience, this is not the course for you. If you are looking for a well maintained, playable, fun golf course, with friendly personnel at a great price --- then you have found your course!

Course was in good shape - even after 2 inches of rain the previous day. Some great risk reward holes and a couple of stout holes as well.

A very nice layout that incorporates water, sand and ob throughout the round. Course condition could be improved but overall a good experience.

I got a great price on GOLF NOW. I've played the course a few times and find it to be one of the best public courses in the area. If you shoot well here, it feels like you accomplished something. With all the rain we've been having, the greens were a litle slow, but that was understandable. My only complaint was that they put a fousome of 10-year olds in front of us. They only played 9, but that 9 took 2:45. Wish there had been a ranger to move them along.

The course itself was fine but the pace of play made the experience a bad one. First of all the starter on the first hole told us that since it was a beautiful day "they" had packed the course with as many people as possible. We teed off 25 minutes late and then waited at every shot for the group in front of us, who waited for the group in front of them. After 16 holes and 5 hours of play our foursome actually went around the groups in front of us and left. We were running late and since the pace had been so slow we never got in a good rhythm and all four of us felt like we had played poorly. I do not think i will play golf at Springbrook again.

I really enjoyed the layout of this course. Lots of different types of holes, challenging but very enjoyable. Some holes give you the choice to play a safe shot or to be agressive. Fairways were a little flooded, especially since it was raining the first half of the day we played. Greens were lighting fast. Overall enjoyed and will definitely be back!

The fact that it was a Monday and the round took over 5 hours is ridiculous. There was not one marshal our entire round while out on the course to try and help to see which groups were holding everyone up. There was also not one beverage cart the entire round either which was very disappointing. For a park district public coarse that charges so much for a round, I would certainly expect better pace of play and course attentiveness.

The course is in good condition but the rough is so long that you have to walk over your ball to find it. Play is slowed down as a result. Carts are allowed to go anywhere even next to the green which causes damage to the grass near the greens and makes for odd ball positions.
