Small, challenging. Course was in excellent shape given lack of rain in area. Beautiful course layout. Nice to finish a full 18 holes in under 4 hours. Thoroughly enjoy playing this course.
Nice course for the money
The course got me our earlier than my tee time. The course has some interesting holes that are challenging. Course also has several par 3’s in a row. Par 65 course.
Course conditions were terrible
Tee boxes were torn up super bad, many of the greens were not taken care of. A sand bunker on back 9 had two piles of sand up to my knees (looked like they just dumped sand and left it). Pace of play was good but was due to not many people playing. Price to play was nice but the course was not well taken care of.
Some good some bad
Challenging course that enables you to use several of your clubs. The individual at the club house accused me of not paying for the round even though I showed him a paper confirmation of me paying for three individuals. He also told me that they do not accept TeeOff payments. After about five minutes he said he went to a different page and found verification of payment and apologized. Obviously some training is needed. The pace was very slow especially for a weekday. Also, there was not a starter or ranger for our round. The bar and restaurant had some nice selection at reasonable prices.
shorter course
early spring golf , greens had been aerated so not best condition but rest of course was in fine shape . a few interesting holes with the creek becoming involved but all in all , fairly straight forward except getting from greens to next tee boxes . could use a few more directional signage
Used to be better
This course was just a run of the mill municipal course then the last couple years they got new ground crew and the place played 1000% better than it ever did. This year they have another (3rd) ground crew and they have let things go back to just a run of the mill muni course so two steps forward 5 steps back I guess. Beaten to death tee boxes and scarred up greens. Fairways and rough that seem to blend together seamlessly. Tight course that forces you to be in control and make shots lots of par 3's that by their nature force you to make club/distance selections and make shots that's why the course is a 3 and not a two. Staff was as good as always starter was friendly and chatty. If the course conditions could be brought back up to covid/pre covid standards 3.5 to 4 star all the way.
