University Park Golf Club
About
University Park Golf Club (formerly known as University Golf Club & Conference Center) boasts one of the most popular championship courses in the Chicagoland area. The golf course has been a local favorite since it first opened in 1962. The original design by Lawrence Packard received an update in 2004 by Greg Martin, but the classic character of the layout still remains. The course wanders across gentle rolling terrain, providing elevated tees and undulating fairways. Water hazards come into play on half the holes, including on the 17th, University Park Golf Club's signature hole. This intimidating par 3 requires a tough carry over water to an elevated green. Miss it and you'll be faced with the nearly impossible task of getting up and down. The difficulty doesn't let up with the final hole, an uphill dogleg par 4 with a sloped, elevated green and water on the right.

Thursday golf
Greens were really slow, you had to look for your ball in the rough, for it was long, had to use a iron to get out
Mow the Grass
Fairways and greens are overgrown. Apparently village does not perform maintenance required to make course playable. I hear this use to be a beautiful course until University Park took over grounds keeping.
need upgrades
Silver Lakes golf course is the place to go
University used to have a nice deck now its messed up
whoever did the deck need to rebuid it.
Folks enjoyed sitting out there eating after the work out
New management really improving course
Stopped playing because of bad conditions but new management has turned it around nice !!!
Hidden gem
Great place to play. Perfect distance for the average golfer. Great price. Course conditions really good. Greens a little hard, but really good for this time of year. Look forward to playing again as the season goes on.
need work
The course is in need of a good grounds keeper. Fairways for most part not cut. The fairways that were cut looked like someone forgot to set all of the blades the same height. They were also starting up the irrigation system the soaked my cart and clubs and then soaked me. No one was watching where golfers were playing before they turned on sprinkler heads.
Still needs work
At least it looks like they’re trying. Tee boxes still in bad shape and some of the greens (17 in particular) had some bald spots. The fairways on my 2 favorite holes, 14 and 15 need mowing. Couldn’t tell the fairway from the rough. Haven’t been here in a while and it was better than the last time I played here, but I think I’ll wait a few years before returning. Just a suggestion, but I think you should have some hot dogs ready at the turn so you don’t have to wait 10 minutes and hold things up.
Good shape
This place is back. People working hard to improve conditions and
Nice place
Conditions have improved considerably since the last two years
