Short, Nice Course, But SLOW Pace
Saukie is a great deal, $25 for 18 holes with a cart everyday of the week. The course is in really good condition. Super short course, a few too many Par 3’s for my liking. Hole 3 is 105 yards from the white, which is ridiculous. However, the course was in great shape. Only real negative about this course was the pace. Played the Front 9 in 90 minutes. Took 150 minutes on the Back 9 and multiple groups left because of the back-ups. Overall, I’d play at Saukie again, but at a less busy time.
I Golf almost every day and this is my home course. Practice green is nice and the overall course is excellent. The staff is super friendly and one man actually helps me with my putting sometimes. Although the course is pretty easy, the par 3's require great precision. The concession has a good selection of food and merchandise. This consists of tees, balls, hats, shirts, gloves, spikes for shoes, and much much more!
A Day at Saukie
I have arthitis so I grabbed a cart and made it out ok. The course was decent and I enjoyed it. I like to play alot of courses. If your looking for a good deal this place isnt too bad. They will see me again.
For beginning golfers the place isnt bad to get some course time but for anyone that has played more then a year or two this is a lousy course..
however you can play 18 for like 14 bucks or somethign like that so i shouldnt complain too much
