Schaumburg Golf Club - Players/Baer Course
The 27-hole course at Schaumburg Golf Club is divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations that range from just over 6,000 yards to 6,700 yards. The Tournament, Baer, and Players Courses all provide a unique set of challenges but they share the same great conditions on their tees, greens, and fairways. Schaumburg has been host to numerous events since opening in 1928, including the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments. It is a popular course since the club offers country club amenities and quality with the affordability of a public golf course. Schaumburg's Players/Baer combination starts out with a few tricky carries over water on the front nine and a more forgiving back nine. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout the course, however.

Employees having a bad day maybe?
I've been golfing for awhile now, and have never had such a bad experience with the staff from this course. First off they timed us on some holes and said we were taking too long with the hole. In reality they didn't see us have to wait for the others to go before we could go. They said they we could just hit a few balls and then head to the green. They said we looked like we were new to golf and that we were holding people up. In reality they overbooked the the course and were going about it all the wrong way. I've never been to a course were they were "nice" jerks to the customers. We booked the twilight rate for 18 holes on a Sunday evening and stopped us at the 15th hole because they needed the carts in by 8:30 pm. There were still light out and we could have easily finished the last three holes before dark, but they wouldn't let us. I will NEVER be back to this location, which sucks because I got the SPD card which gives you a discount at the Schaumburg Golf club. Such a waste of time.
Chris Faillo - Schaumburg Golf Academy Lead Assistant and Top-Notch Pro
My wife and I had the pleasure of buying golf clubs from the Schaumburg Golf Academy. It was a blast hanging out with Chris Faillo - he's a great guy and an amazing instructor. He fit us for our new Callaway Epic Clubs. We highly recommend Chris and his staff. Chris is a top-Notch Pro!
One of the best kept courses in the area. Greens are very fast and tricky
Can't believe they are re-doing one of the nines but we will see how it turns out. Had a great time and the course was in great condition.
Out of Towner
Couse in good shape, keep driver in bag, short and I lost too many balls. It rained so didn't finish, kind of pricey, charged extra for wife to ride not play.
Playing in the rain
Really enjoyed the lighting fast greens
Look forward to play next week
Course In good shape. Always challenging. Pace of pace great. As a foursome we played 9 holes in 1 and 1/2 hours with two riders and two walkers.
Nice Day, Decent conditions
Greens were very fast despite heavy rains only a few days earlier. This combo of 9s is the best available here. One of the best muni courses I the area.
Best that I have seen the greens in a long time.
Slow day, not many players on course which was nice. Not the most exciting course, but plenty of elevated greens with nice complexes. Pretty wide open for beginners , yet challenging for good players. Three 9's to accommodate play all with different variety.
The greens are as tuff as they come, course is great. So if you want greens that will put your putting skills to the test this is your course.
First time playing there and who knew what I was missing. Great course in great condition for early in the year. Staff gave good advice for playing that day. Pro shop helpful before and after round. Will play again
