great old course
125 yr old gem. a bit short, great 1:15 minute walk on a cool, bright fall day. i can image waht it might have been like playing this 100 years ago and it still holds up nicely.they grow grass well and i bet in the summer can make the tiny greens a challenge.
Great Day For Golf
We had a tee time for after the Saturday league, we ran into the tail end of the league on number 8. The course was in terrific condition.
Fun and short course
If you need to play a quick round, this is the place. Can usually play a round with cart in 1 hr 15 mins. If no one else is in front of me….45 mins with a cart. Snall, tight greens. No sand only 1 creek on #8.
Staff is super friendly !!! Shirley is the best!!
Public course
Oldest course in the city…..no sand and only water on hole #8. Small greens. Course needs work on the tee boxes and some greens. Can usually play 9 holes with a cart in an hour.
Oldest park course
Quick and short course to play. If no trafffic, you can play in 1 hour……. Course needs some work on both tee boxes and greens.
Nice public course
Fairly short and easy. Small greens…no sand.
Very friendly staff
Short but fun
Older course. Tight and short but fun. Tee boxes and greens in good shape. Can easily play 9 holes with a cart in 1 hr. 1.5 hrs max
Nice but tight public course
Nice public course that is slowly getting upgrades…like to the cart path…. Still needs trees cut back and deadwood removed. Greens very soft and slow today. They need to remind people to fix their ball marks. Small greens, no sand. Some greens are being enlarged but they need seeded….. only real complaint is that many golfers dont seem to know what courtesy is…… example: if using a push cart..dont push it up to the front of the green and walk away especially iwhen the next tee is behind the green…. Also dont standthere taking 50 practice swings … practice off the course. Finally put your clubs away and walk away from the green. Dont stand there and talk or count your clubs and look in your bag for balls!!!
Pasfield Municipal Golf
I first played this course as a 14YO over 50 years ago. Some changes have occurred, of course. But, it is mostly the same course. Built across the valley of a good-sized creek, the course is frequently a thoroughfare of local wildlife. There are deer and fox, fish, ducks, geese and weasel. Songbirds are common. The squirrels fear the hawks and owls and the golfers fear the trees and rough.
Though not so lengthy, this course requires the golfer to place nearly every shot to make par. Creating unusual ambiance, the nearby Carillon is professionally played frequently. Walk or ride. But, do bring your fairway woods, wedges and your putter and enjoy a convenient, inexpensive and fun 9-hole round of golf - two times around.
Simple short muni course
Got a good hot deal to play this course. Hadn’t been here in a while and couldn’t pass it up. Purse was in good shape and it was fun to play here again.
