Madrona Links Golf Course
About
Madrona Links Golf Course first opened in 1978, and has since become one of the most active clubs in the Puget Sound area. Located in Gig Harbor, the course is conveniently located on the peninsula with easy access to Tacoma Narrows and Highway 16. The layout has a classic links design that is player friendly enough for players of all skill levels. Small, deep bunkers frame both the greens and fairways. Madrona Links requires accuracy, but it's not overly punishing if you're slightly errant. With only gently rolling hills, the golf course is an easy walk. At just over 5,600 yards from the back tees, it's relatively short but you will still face some challenging shots. This popular course is one of the best values in the area.

Fun course
Short course, can score if you keep it in the fairway. Greens well kept and challenging. Excellent lunch at Hackers bar and grill.
Well kept, short course
Greens were in great condition for time of year, course is a little short. Went early and finished under 3 hours.
We had a great time
Greens were perfect and we finished in 3 hours with 3 people. Only drawback is it was a little soft in a few places but other than that it was a great round.
Even on a wet or foggy day
The course shines even in fog or saturated with rain. Fun, challenging and the effort the crew puts into the grounds shows through even in sub par weather conditions.
Challenging course
Played course recently still a little sandy great value for the money
slow play
well it was a fun course but to slow of play if you are a long ball hitter
Lots of Trees
A lot of tree-lined fairways, especially on the front. Need to hit the ball straight or it could be a tough round of golf. The course is not long, but keeping the ball in the fairway is huge and the greens were in great shape with a lot of slopes, but they putted true.
Nice!
Nice course, with a couple drivable par 5's. The greens are receptive and at the same time "not slow".
Great value for the money.
Good for the rate
Super accommodating when our forth couldn’t show up on time. Good course, good condition, great price.
Two tournaments the day we played and you wouldn’t have known.
Course was in great shape. Guy in the club House was bad mouthing Golfnow and the gal behind counter took the time to explain how it works for the course (bringing in people who have never played there before like us, only two tee times a day, etc.). When I told her we were Golfnow people apologized for guy (not needed) She was great, explained the course gave course guides and was very welcoming. The pace of play was great even with a tournament. Restaurant after was good too, they handled to tournament groups during the time were there (it was packed). Will play there again even with having to pay bridge toll.
