Poorly Maintained
Fairway is full of clover and weeds. Rough is mostly weeds and some clover. Some holes had weeds 8-10 inches mowed and laying in the rough. Greens really need mowed and poorly maintained (bald spots). Even though Staff very friendly, I would not recommend.
The worst course I’ve ever seen!
This course was in such bad shape, it hadn’t been mowed for weeks. You couldn’t distinguish the fairways from the rough. That was just the front nine. The back nine was about ten times as bad. We could not even find the cart paths. I think we we should half our money back at the least.
Far From Ready
It is my understanding this course was closed for several years before reopening this year. That said, there is no reason this course should be open right now. Most of the course is weeds. That includes on the greens, where if there wasn't weeds it was brown patches. Fairways and the rough are barely discernible and full of ruts. Sand traps are large overgrown weed pits. Honestly, it needs a complete overhaul from tee to green, which I know is expensive in time and money, but this is no way to seriously revive a course. The layout has potential, though there are a few too many 90-degree l doglegs. But this course is honestly several years from being truly playable, even for $8.
Dustys golf
The course just reopened after five years being closed and neglected. The weather stayed wet so lots of work couldn't be done, such as fixing tee boxes, reconstructing sand traps and controlling the rough.
As it is now locals and beginners will find it ok, but it will need a couple of years before they should ask more than $1 per hole with cart.
