Reviews
great day
Course is in excellent condition and for a municipal course is very challenging. If you have level lie you are fortunate. Is only a par 70 course but is very difficult.
Mos always enjoy playing this course in Anderson especially since it's close to home.

Good experience
Course was well maintained. Watering was taking place during our round. Will play again.
Improved upkeep since my last visit.
Appreciate the course's flexibility to my delayed arrival.
Course is short and hilly
This course is well-maintained and the staff is friendly. The par 3 holes were long and the par 5 holes were short. Several of the holes were either up going down or down going up. Fairways were mostly wide with trees flanking the fairway. There is no real concessions in the Pro Shop building and the restaurant is not always open while the course is open. Otherwise; it was a fun course to play.
Course was fun too play
This course has very short par fours but it was good to use all of your irons. It was the type of course that was good for older players or ones who are struggling to hit the ball long. I enjoyed it so much I booked it again the very next day.
Great course for the money!
Decided to take a half day at work and then come and play a round of golf with a friend. Had a great time and the course was in great shape, can't beat the fact that we got a great deal as well!
Good course at a good value
I hesitate to write a good review only because I'm a bit selfish! This is a great tucked away course at a great value. The fairways are often generously wide, which is nice for players like me with a wicked slice. The condition all over is better than to be expected for $19 a round.
There are lots of hills throughout the entire 18 holes to add challenge and enjoyment. It also feels nice when you tee off from a hill and end up driving over 270.
This course provides the opportunity to work on the short irons
My sister wanted to go golfing so I chose this one due to it being a little bit shorter. It was a nice place to work on the short irons as a few of the par 4's are almost drive-able and most will leave you with 150 or less to the flag. Also, the par 5's give you a chance to reach in 2. The greens were slow but everything was as I expected given the intent of the course and it's offering. I would play it as long as I get it at a good rate. With all the choices out there, it's not worth their normal asking rate.
This is a decent city owned course. It is in good shape and wintered over pretty well.
The fairways are wide and the rough light right now. They just started mowing (it is now early April) They are doing maintenance and clearing some of the dead trees and brush. It is a decent city owned course considering some of the city budget issues, and generally a good deal for the price.
Sneaky greens
This is a straight forward course. Not very long; I'd hit Driver/3 wood off the box and have PW or less into almost every Par 4 green. The greens are slow and tricky though, alot of altering grain in the greens and very subtle breaks. All in all...it's a nice course and for the price....very hard to beat!
