Boonville cc
I wish I lived closer because I would join then , I always like going out there a couple times a year.
Great course great layout
Course shows some signs of late-season wear. But overall in good shape, challenging even from the senior tees, back has lots of character Tuff greens ,definitely Play It Again.
2nd time play
We liked the look of the course, but when we got on the 1st hole, both of us lost our ball in the rough. We found if you aren't standing on top of it you can't find it. The fairways were very nice and greens well trimmed. We sure would have wished the rough was set lower by about 2 inches to find our ball.
We still enjoyed the day and look to go back maybe next week and a few times before late fall. I was supriszed to see some leaves already falling
Staff friendliness lacking
Played here before with a group of friends and paid full price. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Played here Monday by myself with a "Hotdeal" and was practically scorned at. Staff didn't take the confirmation number their "own course" sent me. Told me I had to have a "303..." confirmation #. Luckily I kept the confirmation # from GolfNow which was a "304..." # and they accepted it. Here's your key, there's your cart, there's the door. Now on to the course. This is the 3rd time to play this course and it was in the best shape it's been, no complaints here. Front 9 is very straight forward and the back 9 is quirky. I do like the fact that you can hit every club in your bag. Greens are tiny but if you hit them you have a real good look at birdie. If you want a course to something different than driver off the tee and score well this course if for you.
Nice Course!
Greens and fairways in good shape, stay out of the rough, it is well trimmed but gnarley!!
Great shape
It was cart-path only due to the previous days rain. The course drained well and the conditions were more-than acceptable.
Rates used to be good
The course is fun and challenging. The greens are fairly tough to read as sometimes they were fast and sometimes slow. The fairways were in decent shape. The tee boxes need some work. I took advantage of a great deal, but now it seems the club has drastically raised their prices for non-members. It's not worth the new prices.
Simple
It's the beginning of the season so not much to complain about when it comes to total condition of the course. But the course is short and there did not appear to be any yardage markers at the tee boxes. Overall it is a value for a hot deal and a good test of your game especially after the front nine. Not too hard and not too easy. I shot an 83. Not great but it is what is. And so is the course.
Expect hills and club selection decisions can be up to 2 clubs and sometimes 3 clubs more or less.
Anyway, for a first time player I would come back again at the low price of a hot deal.
return to Boony
I love the layout. Just a little different. Course was in good shape overall but the greens were a little fuzzy and bumpy. I bet there is a plan behind that as I know your members will not put up with it.
Needs improvement
The overall condition was poor. The fairways and greens had bare spots and a lot of weeds. Bunkers are non existent. I will not play this course again. Not a course for a better than average golfer.
Nice course
Played here a couple of times. The tee boxes and greens are all in very nice condition. Fairways are in good shape for the most part. It's a fun course, front nine very hilly, and back nine short but very tight. Staff is friendly, and they have the best burgers around. My biggest complaint is the bugs are horrible. They need to spray or something. I will play here again though.
Good value
this course is fun to play. we played form the white tee box which is 5800 yards I think. staff is very friendly. great value for the price
Great course
Friendly staff! This course has improved greatly in the past 2 years!
Fast Paced Round
Course in in good shape and staff is very friendly. Greens in great shape and back 9 has some unique/challenging holes.
Great Day on the Course
The course was in very good shape considering the time of year and the limited weather conditions. I will play this course again; we had a wonderful time.
Don't Bother Stopping
Here it is the 1st of May and the fairways are totally dead. Shaggy greens and way too many blind shots makes for a pretty long day. Farmer Johnsons Animals on the front nine can be heard on every hole and they are very loud. On top of that the front nine plays right next to the hwy which is crasy loud to begin with. Front nine tue meaning of cow pasture pool.. Once you get to the back nine it quiets down. There are a couple of cool short par 3's but the torture on the other holes does not make up for it. Driver, 9 iron on their par 5 holes lol. Skip this course and head on down the road.
Great day.
Really enjoyed the course. Greens were in great shape and in a few weeks the Bermuda fairways should come in. Great value.
Good course, very scenic
Good course with some challenging holes. Staff was very friendly.
Boonville Country Club
Boonville CC is a good bang for its buck. The greens are in good shape, just fairly slow. The fairways can use a little work and will get better as the weather stays nice more consistently. I would recommend this course for anyone who is trying to save a little money or for beginners who prefer slower greens.
