Course was fine but customer service was poor
Let me start by saying this course is fine. The layout is a little quirky on the back nine but the greens are nice.
I started playing (had an 11:30 tee time). I arrived at the started about 11:25 and he asked if I could wait a few minutes and he would pair me up with 3 others. This was great. We played hole #1 and as I was approaching the green on #2 - this guy drives up in a cart and said he was supposed to be playing with the threesome and I would just have to play behind them now. So - not only did I wait to tee off to play with these guys - I then had to play behind them because their buddy finally showed up. No golf course should allow this.
Great value and friendly staff!
Really enjoyed my round. The course was in good shape and the staff was friendly. Rode in a cart and finished just under 2.5 hours.
pleasantly surprised
Good condition, nice club house. From blue tees 6169 yards some par 4's to long some too short. Would play again
Good course, great value
Thunderstorms over the past week left the course saturated. Standing water in low spots and lucious damp rough gave the course some extra bite. Greens are small and tough to hold out of rough, even with short irons. They roll great though, a little on the slow side. Tough to review the fairways given the rain, though they did dry out significantly as the round progressed. I'll be back.
soggy
day we played just after heavy rains day before. cart path only fairways where wet. green is good shape.
Short but tricky
Fun course need to play it a few times
Good municipal course...
Fun course, with challenges for all levels of golfer...very friendly staff. Some of the tee-boxes could use attention (a lot of crab-grass on several), greens were in good shape, and the fairways were average.
Sloppy but still great
Recent heavy rains had the course swimming. Cart path only hurt pace of play, but understandable.
Greens were gorgeous, albeit a bit slow. I'm sure the mowers had been stifled by the rains. Have played here before and the greens were beautiful.
Very tight driving course. Most of the driving holes require precise shot shaping off the tee. Several awkward layups required off the tee on the back 9. Don't just grab driver or you're in trouble.
Staff were very apologetic about the conditions and were very nice. I'll be back when the sun shines for a few days and it gets nice and firm.
Course is quite short by today's standards. I'm a 9.2 and played from the tips and had 9 iron or less into most par 4s even despite the wet conditions and can reach the par 5s in dry conditions.
Some hole layouts don't make sense
4-5 holes dog leg so dramatically you have to hit an iron off the tee. Also it was extremely muddy and wet. It's a little overpriced but if it were $25 it would be worth it.
Course is nice
Pace of play was terrible. But it was Saturday.
If you are a long ball hitter you can go after several greens.

Good value course. Big difference between the white and blue tees, so be a long hitter(250 plus yard drive) if you plan on playing blues. If you are playing whites you will tee off the majority of the back 9 with an iron. It was easier to hit from the rough than the fairway. The fairway hasn't come to life yet and it's super easy to hit it fat, especially if it's a little wet. The course is always in good shape throughout the summer and the staff is always pretty nice, except for a couple old guys that man the front desk in the mornings.
Always enjoy playing here!
Like the course, great staff, course was in very good condition, especially for January!!
Really good shape
With all the rain that we have had the course looks good. With the exception of the green on the 1st hole which had leaves sticks and acorns on it. But the rest was fine
good for average to good player , greens were great for this time of year!,,
Greens were great for this time of year. Overhaul course was in great shape except for the leaves in some areas.
Wooded View is worth the drive
Course in great shape. Excellent value with golf now rate. Rough was rough as it should be. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were good but would be better if golfers fixed their ball marks. Pace of play on back nine got slow but still played in 4.5 hours. First time there but will definitely look forward to going back.
Beautiful day for golf
Played with my Daughter and son so I got to pay for everyone! Had fun. Leaves are coming down so that made for a challenge finding the balls but was worth it. Would go back again!
Mislead
This course had a 4.0/5 star rating. The course is probably a 2.5/5 and there were about 6-8 people waiting at the 10th hole to make the turn. I ended up just playing 9 holes because the second 9 was going to take a minimum of 3 hours.
Nice park course
Nice course close to downtown. Not particularly difficult. Mostly flat, back nine much tighter than front nine. Course is in very good shape. Leaves blowing onto greens unavoidable, but, otherwise, no issues at all.

Great Course. The pace of play was way to slow. Groups that hold up the pace should be warned.
will be back
I was impressed with the course. Despite little rain in the area, the greens were well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and well organized.
