Would never recommend
First and foremost set aside the awful experience of how rude and unprofessional the owner and staff was the cart paths are awful.
Plays Tougher Than it Looks
First time playing in May of 2021. I had a 2 for 1 special with a buddy so we played it for cheap. Pace of Play was REALLY slow on the front, but picked up on the back. I enjoyed the course for the most part. I think Hole #1 is kind of gimmicky for an opening hole. However the stretch of holes on the front (5,6,7) is really a good stretch.
We played it from the tips, and it's not incredibly long at 6,600 yards, but I do think you get penalized for misses - which is good. Greens were decent speed, but a little bumpy. Water comes into play on a number of holes as well.
I would play the course again, which I believe is a good compliment. For the price, it's a GREAT play.
My new favorite course
Eagle Glen is a diamond in the rough surrounded by a housing development that is continuing to grow.
From the moment you walk in and are greeted by a staff member who always has a smile to grabbing a hot dog at the bar you will know you made the right decision to play there and more than likely will be back.
The course is challenging but not to the point of making you frustrated. The grees are always in great shape and ready to go.
Prices are even cheaper than other courses in the area that are not of the same caliber as Eagle Glen.
You owe it to yourself to find out why people drive down from Michigan to play here and come back.
You can sign out a GPS unit that plugs into the golf cart!! No charge.
Local Course
Great layout closest 18 hole course close to home!
Great course
Sometimes you get real lucky, took a trip to Indiana and went to Eagle Glen with no idea what to expect, it was a beautiful course, lots of water and traps, well maintained and very enjoyable. Will go back.
Maybe the last day to golf
With snow coming we decided to play a quick game on a course close to home. I have played it a two times prior but don't normally like to play courses with houses around. This course is set up perfect though with houses but they never feel invasive to the course. Only had time for 9 holes but truly enjoyed this course. Layout is nice with several holes still undeveloped so has the feeling of nature which I enjoy. The holes were all very well groomed for this time of year. I would recommend this course to anyone.
Nice course
First time I've played Eagle Glen. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a fairly short course. If you're straight off the tee with a 3 wood, most holes will leave you with a 9 iron or wedge in. Course was in very nice condition.
just a good golf experience
One of the better, if not the best course to play in the area. Good fairways and excellent greens.
Good value for golf now price
Not the nicest course around but it is kept it very good shape. The golfnow price is definitely worth the money.
One of the nicest courses around
We probably play here twice a week. Probably should get a membership. Love the course. Best round here was an 81, not bad for a 60 yr. old
Great Shape
I have played this course off and on for offer 20 years. It is now in the best shape I have ever seen it. The greens were lighting fast. Fairways and tee boxes in very good shape. The rough was manageable. All in all a very nice day!!! Would do this again.,
Course condition
Course is well maintained. You need to be fairly straight and would suggest bringing an extra sleeve of balls. Plenty of trees and water hazards. Sand traps are in good condition. Greens are fairly soft and will hold your shots to the green.
Enjoyed the course and will play it again.
this course has great features
i played this course on 7/10/2016. course was in great shape. very challenging. i would definitly play it again. it's a hidden gem.
Great course away from the city traffic!!!!
This Golf Course is a hidden gem. Tucked away just off of U.S. 30, you would never know that it is there withought the signs. The layout of the course is great. I am thoroughly surprised by the amount of hills that are on this course for being in Northeast Indiana. Not the most challenging course by any means, but it is a great place to play and spend an afternoon. The greens roll true, the tee boxes are in great shape, and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend playing this course if you are in the area.
Bad hot deal
My tee time was put in the center of a golf outing. The pace of play was so bad I could only play 12 holes in 4 hours
The staff didn't seem at all concerned
Great course, excellent value
We had a great time at this challenging but fun to play course. It was in great shape, and with our hot deal, you couldn't beat the value!
Great time
I've played this course five or six times before. Conditions were usually good. This time I was pleasantly surprised that, this late in the season, the course was very good. Even after the greens were recently aerated, they rolled very well. My group left happy that we played there.
Outstanding course
Great course. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's always in great shape. I wish it were closer to where I lived so I could play it more.
If you're from Fort Wayne, you have to get out here a few times a year. There's a near 600 yard Par 5 from the tips. With the wind, it plays pretty long with hazards on both sides of the fairway.
Put your driver away on many of the par 4s. A 3-wood in the fairway will do just fine.
