Much to be desired
Fairway on every hole hardly no grass, every green slightly airiested and heavily sanded. Back 9 closed. Didn't want to be miserable again so went home.
They should have paid me.
Back 9 not open.
Front extremely dried up fairway on every hole, every green slightly airiested and heavily sanded. It was a disaster. I felt they should have paid me to play. Played only 9, I didn't want to go through it again. Sure not worth it.
Fun, Short Course but...
Hacker's paradise. I'll give them a pass on conditions since it's March. Greens are pretty good considering the rest of the course is rough. Haven't really mowed yet so hard to tell where the fairway is. Cart paths are horrible. It's a short course and has some fun holes. Pace is slow with a mix of riders and walkers. With some money it could be pretty nice. It could be stretch a little more too if they wanted. Always wanted to play it and see but probably won't go back.
OK
Very wet and windy ( not the fault of the course😊). Enjoyed the pace of play and had a fun round.
Great Course but not very welcoming impression to new guest.
Great course but not very welcoming to new customers. I had booked with GolfNow but needed to verify with phone. I had to head back to the car and never done that at any course since it’s in the system. But had a good grouping and course is in good shape for November. I golf more then the average person and would recommend this course to anyone.
Good cheap course
This course has been a consistent go to for me because it’s a cheaper course to play. However my experience today was not up to the standard it has been in the least. I enjoyed the round for the most part. The biggest problems was course conditions and I believe a lot of it was just due to it being late in the season. If you are looking for a cheap 18 holes on a decent course this is a great choice !
Summer Time Roll
Course was in pretty good condition considering we’ve needed rain for a couple of weeks. Was hard to get a tee into several tee boxes. Was a good experience overall - will play here again. :)
Thunderbolt
greens are in bad shape with a lot of crabgrass. would not recommend this course at this time, but it use to be in better shape and has potential
Terrible Green conditions
The course was an ad-hoc decision after being in the car for 7 hours and we wanted to stretch our legs. The fairways were on decent shape but I have never experienced greens this bad. The greens were patchy, bumpy with weeds growing everywhere where there was stuff and the two bunkers we saw were like concrete. If you're looking to just get out and don't care about the course, I guess its ok but if you care about the quality of the course, this is NOT the place for you.
Not What It Used To Be
Used to play this course when it was Hamilton GC and was a 27 hole layout. Moved away and hadn't played the course in 20+ years. Course is not in best condition, greens are worn and have considerable weeds, fairways and rough are not discernible, cart paths (when available) are rough. Overall not great condition but played more for more nostalgia. Good layout, just needs some attention.
