The course was in good shape except for the greens. The greens had just been plugged to air them. Other than that the course was nice. Staff was friendly like usual and pace was 3hr and 30 min for a 2some. I would recommend this course as a great value when the greens are normal playing shape.
Will come back
Got a great deal online. Nice layout and pretty setting for public course. Greens had just been aerated and sanded so they weren’t great on the day we played but we could tell they were in good condition. Our pace was great. No traffic but we noticed back ups on other holes and some fivesomes. We will come back.
Needs a ranger
Good course paid a super price to play thanks to a Hot Deal! Only complaint is the 5some that was in front of us the whole back nine. Course was in good shape greens rolled good. Monitor the course a little better to speed up play our round ended up a little over 5hrs because of group ahead of us.
Best value course in southern Indiana
Have played here several times this season and has taken never more than 4 hours to play. The course’s renovation 2 years ago has made this a first class venue. Couple this with the hot deal price and you have real value.
Surprisingly very good for a public course
I enjoyed the round very much. The greens were in good shape, especially for this time of year. There are a lot of humps and bumps around the greens making them challenging and tricky. I will definitely play here again and will recommend it to friends.
Course was in good shape. There were a couple of bare spots due to August weather, but nothing that really affected play. Greens were good. Rough was pretty thick. Our only issue was playing behind a slower threesome for the final 11 holes, waiting for them on almost every hole. I wish all courses would do more to address.this as a part of golf etiquette with signage, etc... Overall, a good round. The course does have a few unique holes with blind shots and interesting layouts, so having played it before is a big advantage.
Valley View GC
I used to be a member 5 yrears ago, but gave up membership because pace of play and course conditions were lousy. Played 3 times this year and surprised to find great improvement. The course had a major renovation 2 years ago and is truly a fine course now. Plan to play again!!
love the layout
course was great but only met one staff member and he was not very friendly quite rude actually
The golf Cousy is in great shape right now. Bermuda fairways are great this time of the year. The greens roll really well.
Course in Great Shape
First time around this course in Southern Indiana. It was beautiful weather and the course did not disappoint. We played 18 and found the course not overly difficult, but fun to play. The tee boxes are well kept and well rotated. The fairways are in great shape and the greens were excellent - a little slow but that was fine for me. I really enjoyed the layout and the superb condition, we will return soon.
Very nice course with very accommodating staff
Really in nice shape, greens were good, fairway had grass, and the staff in the proshop was very nice and accommodating. Now as far as pace, we were behind a 4 some walking, and they would not let anyone through. There were three open holes ahead of them and we had 5 groups held up behind them.
Back to the positive, this is an underrated course, and should be played if you are in the area. Again, the man in the proshop was great!
Usually at Valley View at least two five somes are on the tee box at your scheduled time, at least one group jumps in front of you at the turn and the round is an agonizing 6 hours on the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised that I went off as scheduled, made the turn without a hitch and would have been done in 4 hours except the group in front had some difficulty at the 16th hole. Great job with the new management!
