Riverbend Golf Course

Played 18 holes in under 4 hours and course management kept telling us to pick up our pace. Loved the course, but if you are looking for a place to play a relaxing round at a reasonable and enjoyable pace for a weekend golfer I would pick another course.

Riverbend is a lovely course that has it all: water, sand traps, long and short par fours. It has demanding par fives as well as challenging par threes. The clubhouse is warm and inviting, good food at the turn and a variety of beverages including beer. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about golf and the course as well. I played on a day that almost reached triple didgets..so it was extremely hot, so I had plenty to drink that day. All in sll it's a very good test of all the clubs in your bag, to break 70 is very rewarding indeed..! The greens are large and undulating and csn be difficult to read. I encourage any golfer regardless of ability, to give it a go and good luck..! But hit it straight and stay on dry land..enjoy and have fun..!!

Live in Naperville, IL & headed to Ohio and wanted to find a course on the way. Found this on the internet and it looked good....it was! This course was a great find and the fall weather was beautiful. The course was in good condition and the greens were fantastic...hard, smooth and excellent condition. I played the back 9 first, fairly flat and long with some challenging holes, , but the front 9 takes you along the river and woods with more challenging holes. Looking for an excuse to get back there again. If I lived in Ft Wayne I'd be a regular.

The course is in fantastic shape, tee boxes and green are very well maintained. Even after the rain the Greens are very fast so watch your putts and plan on the green shot.

The staff is very friendly! Will def be playing here again soon.

I'm 67 and the course plays long from the white tees. It's in excellent condition, the rough around the greens is deep 7 difficult and the greens are very fast & undulating. This course will be a challenge even for low single handicappers. Have fun!

The course itself was ok. It has some risk reward aspects to it. I play this course because the greens are excellent. It can get busy so be patient and enjoy.

I played river bend because it was a hot deal on golf now. I didn't expect it to be in such good shape. The last time I played was 3 years ago and the course was rough. Fairways, greens and tee boxes were in bad shape. Not the case this time around. Great condition and a lot of fun.

Tough course-extremely challenging greens. Very slow play sucked the joy out of this round. 4.5 hours for 18 holes! Frustrating!

The course is very diverse with the types of wholes and that challenges you will face. Water, trees, long rough and bunkers do scatter this course. There are some greens the osculate and challenge your putting game as well. I like playing this course, because it is beautiful and will always challenge my focus and golf game. The golf carts are okay and the cart paths are dirt / gravel so if it has rained it might be a little muddy driving. I would recommend this course for anyone to play. The staff is also great.

Haven't played course in over 20 years. It is still challenging, but fair. Course condition was excellent. Better than more expensive courses in Fort Wayne. Staff was very friendly and even helped dry off our carts after raining when we made the turn. I will definitely play again this year, even though I live an hour away.

Played as a two some, and had a two some in front of us all day. They held up the whole course, at one point, they had two holes open in front of them! When we asked to play through, they said the single in front of them was holding them up....

We really enjoyed the course. Staff was very pleasant & the course was in really nice shape. Greens were quite slick and sloped, so that made for a fun challenge keeping it under 3 putts per hole.

My only real complaint is the amount of goose droppings all over the place. They've done a really good job keeping them off the greens, but closing the course for a couple days during goose season might not be a bad idea.

First time I have played Riverbend in the last few years. The course is in great shape. The greens are well maintained and roll beautifully with a touch of speed. I enjoyed playing this track

First time I have ever played River Bend and I really enjoyed playing the course. For mid-October, the course is in great shape. Very pleased with the condition of tees and greens and the fairways were good too. The cart paths were not very good, but not a big deal. The scenery of the course is beautiful. It is very playable but with enough difficulty to keep your attention. I highly recommend this FW course!
