Brookwood Golf Club - Regulation Course

A course layout is quite good and need a strategy with the positions of bunkers and hazard. It’s not so difficult but we can’t win the course with a good course management.

Good layout, great course conditioning, greens are awesome. Fun to play & fair.

Really enjoy playing this course. Beautiful. Excellent condition. Played a couple of months ago. Partners lobbied to go back.

Was visiting here while on leave and decided to get 18 holes in. This was my first time playing the course. The rental clubs were not of the best quality, but the staff had warned me on the phone prior to my arrival. Overall, the course was in great shape. The only negative aspect would be the abundance of balls throughout the course that had been left by previous players. Additionally some of the flag sticks wouldn’t stay in the cup because there was a lot of debris in them. Aside from those minor details the course was great. I was only able to play 12 because the weather had gotten too cold. But if I find myself in Ft Wayne in the summer, I would definitely play this course again.

Brookwood is always a fun course, but I prefer to play it during the week. I played there on a Sunday, and the front 9 took a very long time to finish. The back 9 was much better.

The greens are always good and the layout is very open. Brand new golf carts in 2021 is another bonus!

This is the 5th time this year that i booked my reservation on golfnow to play this course since July and for the first time, I was asked why I am only playing at a cheap deal by the new employee. I did not want to be rude so I just replied back with i am jus a poor guy. There were two other guys playing with me on this day and they booked their reservation at golfnow and paid the same price i did and this particular employee did not ask them why. The owner and other employees have been always nice and they have never asked or made this type of remark. I wrote this review for a couple of reasons. One is to find out if anyone who booked their reservation and paid the hot deal price been asked this question before. The other reason is I would rather have them called me not to come and play because I paid the price that golfnow offered was too cheap. I do not want to waste my time driving there if I am not welcome because of my booking on the Hot Deal at golfnow. Hopefully, I will not be asked this question again in the future or I will not reply with a nice answer.

The pace of play was slow. For some reason, our twosome was told we were the ones holding up the rest of the golfers behind us. There were two individual tee times ahead of and both parties were walking. Not much else we could do except to wait. Very angry with the staff to be completely honest. Will never go back again.
