Golf Advisor: Top Courses in Indiana (2016 #18)
Reviews
Worth the money
Always way fair priced on Golf Now and Curt and staff are super cool. Nice little pro shop as well. A couple greens have dead spots otherwise course is perfect for the average golfer.
Greensburg IN
Greensburg is a pretty nice course. I enjoyed the challenge of this course with exceptional elevation changes. Water and sand hazards are used well. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to play this course.
Accidents happen
Was playing there a few weeks ago and a ground crew member didn't cut mower off as we were passing and chute was pointed at us. From 5 feet away rock flies out and breaks my right lens of new glasses. Thank God they were on and not contacts 50% of time. Other than that I have never has a slow round and Curt as always a class act. Course this year seems pristine but always in good shape. Oddly enough my next round on first tee I crush one with a slight draw right down the middle. About 210 with driver. Pssst
Nice
Great carts, friendly staff, some bare spots on fairways some small greens overall nice course.
Could use some work
Bad- Some of the tee beds could use a lot of work and the cart paths weren’t that great.
Good- fairways and greens were well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful and challenging course!
Tee boxes well marked, greens and fairways in great shape and the staff is very friendly. I’ll be back!!
Greatest value in the area
The staff was very friendly. The pace of play fantastic, no waiting. The course was well maintained. Great value. Definitely heading back.

Eveb better if you go in the summer they take pride in the course and it is a pleasure to golf here
One of the best courses around
A great course with excellent fairways and a great layout.
Was excited to play this course...
I got to the course 10 minutes late due to construction on I74. Called the staff encounter and they were understanding. I was brought up from my car by a member. Friendly guy. Explained the greens were rough on the front 9 but the back should be decent. Rough? Abysmal would be the word. Can’t putt if there’s bare spots on the green. Or holes that looked like aeration holes. My putts look like a ball in a Pachinko game. That much bouncing. You had to make every shot count because if you’re a few feet off the mark, it’s difficult to locate the ball. 16th green wasn’t even a green. It was the fairway cutdown but not to green height. Was like putting on a braided carpet instead of a green. I only gave this course 2 stars because the staff alone were the high point for this round. Now if they only hired as good groundskeepers.
Good Layout, poor conditons
I played this course for the first time Thursday and it was a really good layout. The course was built in 1925, so it is a very traditional parkland style course. The greens were beat up with lots of dead patches and pock marks on the greens. The fairways also had lots water damage to them. There was a par 5 on the back #15 I believe that was playing onto a false green in front of the original green. The staff was friendly and the pace of play was great. I would like to give this course another go when it is in better shape.
HOT
Played here many times and always enjoy Playing the course, but not much water to drink on course. Staff is friendly, but being fathers day the pace of play was slow. I would recommend playing here and I will be back again.
Always good
Course always in good shape and usually wide open making for a nice and quick round of golf.
Wonderful established course
Great course to play if you can play in the fairway say great course to play the greens are next to my shed
Challenging layout
Fairways and most greens are in great shape.
A few tee boxes were temporary due to work being done but a very good experience overall. Definitely recommend playing here. Pleasant staff!
Great value
Wide fairways, good size greens, and well maintained course. Plenty of room to hit a few bad shots and still be in playable shape. Majority of the time the staff is pretty easy to deal with but make sure you don't mess up on your T times because I can tell you from my experience that employee Kyle will not accommodate you if your not a member. However, even with one bad experience I would still recommend this course.
