It’s a little better than the range
Course is kind of a joke. Especially from back tees. Some tee shots almost impossible with the chute of trees they expect you to hit thru. One par 3 is absolutely ignorant as you have maybe 10-15 feet to work a ball thru and somehow hit it 180 yards to get on green. Course is always soaked if it’s rained anytime in a week, lots of gimmicky crazy holes. Greens are decent. No fairways really and never very nice when I go there to play. Guess they don’t like the golfnow rates. But I wouldn’t play there for more than $10-$15.
Never have a problem...Very nice ease of play.
However last trip we ran into 7-carts on the back
nine on the hole in front of us...Didn-t know what
it was all about...We just went around them and
skipped a whole....We like playing North Branch...
Kind of crazy
Decent greens rest the course not much. Strange holes where tree completely block tee shots and you have to somehow hit under branches but hit the ball 170 yards etc. Def needs some work.
cool april day
the greens were excellent, but due to the recent heavy rains some of the fairways were really soft. Overall the course was very playable. Look forward to coming back when its drier and a little warmer. This is a very nice course.
Winter time golf
the course was in great shape for the time of year, the greens were a little slower than they usually are but were in good shape, they were fertilized so next spring they will be great as they usually are. The weather was in the 50 s and a grand time was had by all. Looking for a decent day in January so we can return for another round.
another great round
once again a good time was had by all.November weather was warm and the course was in excellent shape.
great value
This is a very nice course, the greens were fairly quick from what I usually play on but after a couple of holes were very manageable. I'm surprised that more golfers were not out as close to Cincy as this course is. Wonderful value, had a great outing.
Over an hour drive for this?
I booked this as a father-son outing. I wanted a course not too challenging but not boring. We were excited to get out and do some golfing. After a 70 minute drive, we got to the course. Not many people. Saw a 18 hole course and a 9 hole course. I go into the pro shop to check in. No one at the counter. I waited a good 10 minutes before someone in the restaurant told the guy that there's someone there. I told him that I had a booking through GolfNow for two. He started to grumble "Why did they allow that? They should've blocked it out. I'm sticking you on the Prairie course (the 9 hole and furthest course). I told him that I paid for 18 not 9. I guess he was not happy that I already paid online? Wanted BOTH of our names for the cart (?) never heard that one. Told him that my son is 15 and I'M the responsible one.
Had to rely on a mom who was with her kids @ the driving range how to get to Tee #1 box (thank you Mr. Pro Shop. Excellent customer service). We got to the first two holes which was flat and next to the driving range. So now you gotta look really good for your ball. Signs were hand painted and vague. Gave only one length. White tees?
Hole 6 and 7 poorly marked. & in fact goes on forever. We had to venture on the cart. to see the green Think of a great big C shape of a hole. Ran out of time after 9 holes. So ticked off. Won't be going back to this place.
BE GRATEFUL THAT YOU GET BUSINESS INSTEAD OF SEEING IT AS A NUISANCE. Won't be going back.
Nice course..Friendly staff.Just a nice place to
play a round.
Fun on Bridge
What a fun time. Garmin did not work on 9 hole bridge course. Loved the layout with challenges of water and trees. Greens were in great shape and fun to putt. Staff was friendly and very helpful finding the starting holes. The day was cool and wet. Got no roll in fairways which made the course play longer. Would love to play again.
Decent Course For Money
I did not play the Prairie Course so I have no review for it though it did appear to be pretty open. Some holes seemed to play shorter than their listed yardage. However, some of the tee boxes were quite large. Bridge Course is definitely the best nine holes of this twenty-seven hole Course. It was the most challenging and scenic.
great deal
Excellent value. greens good condition. Praire is our least favorate 9. Not sure if changed lay out, our GPS watches would not work. Be sure they are not retrieving balls before buying a bucket, no protection for tractor, they did not offer to refund when we could not use....
great value
The fairways were well kept and the greens were good, maybe getting a little dollar spot but that issue may be being addressed. Pace of play was excellent
Enjoyable course to play!
They have a great clubhouse and lounge with friendly staff. The course has 27 holes with each 9 offering different challenges. The course is always in good shape and never seems too crowded. Overall it is a really fun course to play with good rates!
Select spots to attack
Like the course layout on Meadow and Bridge. Played white tees to have moderate challenge during cold conditions. Easy par 4 start and challenging par 5 finish. Have never found this course so busy that play was slow. If you like the country and like to enjoy a relaxing round, play this course.
