Great fairways
The course is pretty much straight and open with a couple really long tee shots. To test your strength and accuracy. I’m a beginner so I just need to get more accurate
Up and Coming
Course just keeps impressing me. Conditions are consistently improving. The greens are some of the best around. Starter even moved me up a couple slots which was great. Only bad thing I can mention and it is a problem every time is that the register guy Terry is the rudest most unfriendly person at any course in the region.
Pleasantly Surprised!
My Saturday foursome has not played Wicker Park in Years! In the past there was drainage issues and pace of play was a problem. We decided to give it a go today and had a good time. The course was in very good condition and the pace of play was much better. We started about 20 minutes after our tee time but never had to wait on a tee box. Will definitely return.
Great Golf Course for the money!
If you just want to squeeze in 18 holes for the day without a lot of rigmarole this is the course. They have a nice practice area as well.
Solid course
Course never fails. Always have a good time here. Definitely one of the sleeper courses. Always forget about the great practice area they have.
Great Value
Course is in great shape for the value. It is not the nicest course around but definitely the best bang for your buck
Pleasure to play.
Greens are excellent. Good speed. Hold shots. Fairways and sand traps are well taking care of.
Great golf
We had a great time playing ! This is a great place.
Wicker Park review
Course was in very nice shape considering the swings in weather from no rain, to too much rain. We were a little baffled that they had the sprinklers on a couple of holes around 10am that we had to work around.
Not bad for the fee
First round played here. Other than the slow pace, due to the allowance of a single player with wife and TWO toddlers running all over the greens., course was in good shape. Very slow play.
Good value
Greens were nice. Rest of the course had some rough spots, but not bad. Most of the holes are fairly straightforward but this is one monster par 4 - 470 from the tips. Doesn't fit on this course. The guy in the pro shop was anything but friendly, like it was a bother that I was there. But for $17 bucks, hard to go wrong.
5-some allowed?
Started off great..on holec13 caught up to a 5 some..that wete slow...Informed clubhouse but they did not seem to care..
