Good Across the Board
Good price, pace and conditions. Course has a nice layout, not too challenging, but not easy.
Stalked
My friends I booked a tee time at 7:10 am we arrived 15 minutes early. The started started with the demand that we get ready to tee off or we would not be allowed in we miss out tee time. The in the middle of the round he comes out to us and said we were way behind pace. that the golfers a head of us was walking and a hole and a half away. He would stop repeating himself. Then at the end of the day the golfers behind us said he had came over to them bragging about how he got us to move. they said to him according to one of the golfers that the pace was fine. also, we caught up to the walkers and briefly had to wait.
Pace of play
Well maintained. Nice layout fun to play. Pace of play sucked. No ranger 3 groups playing same hole. We jumped around 3 slow groups only got to play 15 holes.
Nice course
Very fair track greens are in nice condition given the dry weather all month.
Too many leaves and debris on the course
Way too many leaves and debris on the field. Was very hard to find your ball in areas where you should normally be able to find them no problem.
Midwest Muggy Fun
What a pleasant surprise for a sweltering day. This course was beautiful with tall cottonwoods and willows lining the fairways. It had forgiving fairways, and water in play on a few holes, that challenged your course reading capabilities in a nonthreatening way. It's an amatur golfer's daydream. A well maintained course with 2 chipping greens and a driving range to warm up. Strong suggest.
Course was in good shape considering the weeks of very hot dry weather.

The course was in great shape greens were groomed along with the fairways, I was surprised cause it usually floods there after a little rain....

First time here. Was a bit concerned after reading the reviews but turned out ok! Good practice area. Very fair course that makes you use every club in the bag.
COVID-19: course was set up diff than IL- no mask req in proshop, rakes available in bunkers, ball washers and divot fillers in carts.
