Do Not Pass This Up
This is a municipal course that you need to play. Off season, the trees are beautiful and then the course can be quite challenging.
If you are a walker, the tees and greens are in close distance making this a wonderful course to walk.
Staff is very friendly, and helpful.
Great Golf Course!
Beechwood is an exceptional place to play for the price, condition, and staff. I play at Beechwood frequently and would recommend the course to anyone. Always enjoy my golfing experience here!

Nice course.
One of the better municipal golf courses I’ve ever played. Very well maintained. Greens were relatively fast and smooth. staff was very friendly!

Pros and Cons
Pro: Course was in good shape, very scenic, greens were fast and very challenging. Cons: We (twosome) followed a foursome off the first tee box. They must have been members becasue as we were playing, other golf carts began to join the group. By the time we were on the back 9, there were 8 golfers all playing their own balls. I said something to them, they were VERY RUDE and would not let anyone play through. After the round I complained to the person in the clubhouse and he honestly didn't care whatsoever. Rubbed me the wrong way, not sure if I would go back.

Beechwood 18 Hole Round
We had 2 groups (3 + 2). Everyone enjoyed the round. No one played their best round, but it came down to putting. The green contours are challenging compared to most public courses. The green speed is difficult for non-regulars. They were definitely slower than when we played Beechwood last month (which they were fast).

Challenging but Fun!
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Course in good shape and is always challenging! Always have a great time playing here. The golf pro is always accommodating for lessons !

Awesome course
I'm a little biased concerning Beechwood (I'm a member) but this course is certainly one you will enjoy playing. Great combination of fair yet tough; keep in play and you'll be great, get offline and you have get creative! Kyle and his staff are amazing, will help in any way possible! Definitely worth the trip!

Great layout with a very friendly staff. It has challenging holes and others that you can go after.. It’s a course where you want to spend an afternoon!

Where are the rangers?
This was my first time playing at Beechwood. The course is very playable - rewarded good shots in the fairways and punished a bit for wayward shots. The pace was a problem but it was a weekend so we expected it to be a little slow. We didn’t expect the threesome in front of us to be as slow as they were. There were 3 men - one good golfer, one who stood over his ball for at least 30 seconds before swinging, and one who only had a putter with him. He used the putter to tee off, hit fairway shots and putt. It was infuriating! Where was the ranger? How could they let someone on the course without clubs? We left after 9 because we couldn’t stand it any more! Too bad because we really wanted to play the whole course.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Fantastic municipal course
Very nice municipal golf course. Good value friendly people. Did have a few foursomes of fairly new golfers which slowed down play until we just decided to skip a hole and go around them.
The only thing this course needs is a ranger to ensure play moves at a reasonable pace.
Tee boxes were a little firm. Trying to get a tee into a few of them was a bit of a challenge. Greens were in fantastic shape and it appears most golfer fix their pitch marks.
Overall a great layout at a fair price.
Staff in clubhouse was very friendly which added to the nice experience for the day.
