About
One half of Sugar Ridge Golf Club is situated in extreme southwestern Ohio while the other half winds up into the Indiana hills. The border location may be unconventional but the setting provides a dramatic backdrop. The course sprawls across rolling hills that are abundant with wildlife. Wild turkey and deer have been known to roam the golf course. The layout has a few parallel fairways though the trees, and hills give each hole a completely secluded feel. The back nine feels more open than the front, but that may only be because of the ponds and lakes that come into play on many of the holes. Throughout Sugar Ridge Golf Club, golfers will find that the par 3s are fairly straightforward and the par 5s have sloping, uphill fairways that make them feel even longer. There are a few memorable par 4s, notable for both their scenery and level of difficulty.

Great course, will come back !!!
First time playing the course and we were very pleasantly surprised by the beautiful scenery, the clever lay-out of the holes and the many challenging holes in the course. Fairways were perfect and the greens perhaps a bit too slow, they seem to have been cut not that short.

Great round at Sugar Ridge
This was the first time we play this course and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the course lay-out, especially the front 9, some of the holes are beautiful and tough to play. The course was in good condition , esp the fairways, the greens were a little bit too slow as they were not cut short.

Do you want to enjoy this round?
If you like putts that bounce, tee shots where the ball is below your feet ,no carts on unkept holes and absolutely 0 hot food on Sundays ( concessions said Sundays are bad days for hot food) then this is the course for you!!! Who wouldn’t want to pay 35 bucks to absolutely hate the course you choose.
Once apon a time this course was great and the staff was amazing but I think it’s time to take the “usga” plaque off the wall. This course is terrible from the tee box to the green just nothing but a bad time …grounds crew is non-existent and staff that cant wait to not help you.
Booked 18 holes and got out there and they had leagues on the front nine. Had to play the back twice.

Nice Place
Very nice course, but needs a little attention by the maintenance crew. The layout is very nice and it gives you challenges every hole. It does need to have more signage to the next hole as some of them aren't labeled. New golfers might find it challenging to find a few holes, but overall I do like this place and will recommend it.

FIRST TIME
Loved the course, pace was great.
Not a long course but very challenging for all levels.
Must ride in a cart for me as the course is very hilly.
even though there is housing all through the course I still felt like I was out in nature.
Can't wait to play this course again.

Solid.
Solid course, great bang for the buck. Only complaints are carts severely underpowered for the slopes, and it’s hard to track some drives because of slopes

Great except for pace of play
Took 4 1/2 hours to play 18 holes. Me and a buddy of mine had to wait nearly every single shot from the first par 3 to the 18th hole. Great course, but definitely overbooked.
Good Layout Slow Pace
First time playing. Staff was very friendly and course layout is cool. Pace of play was terrible. Took almost 5.5 hrs to play 18.

Sugar Ridge
This was a great track! Wish they had a driving range for warm up! They are making improvements right now. Wish there was a little more water and sand. Not a very picturesque course but very nice, especially for the value!!
