Some good, some not
ISU course, dull design, very good condition, old small clubhouse that needs replacing, great staff, very good greens, some bad holes, most are ok, some are just not well designed. Have improved the practice range lately.
Great test
There is no other course like it, one of a kind. The greens are some of the toughest I have ever played. The course was in excellent shape. Highly recommend
Great course
This course forces you to use most of the clubs in your bag. You can't pull driver 14 times and swing away. You have to hit shots to certain distances to be in position to score well. Tee boxes have been beat up in the past but were in decent shape when we played. Course has a lot of trees and fast greens. Very fun course that rewards the player that can hit straight shots between 180-225 yards on several tee shots. There are several holes that you can drive the green but there is plenty of trouble if you are off with your drive. I highly recommend this course!
Great place to play!
Don't be fooled the fareways are very wide but you can still miss them pretty easily. I had an awesome time here. One thing I don't like is I only use my driver on 1 hole on the front nine, and that is the 9th hole. Other then that I can't complain. Greens are nice and fast also. We spotted about 6 fawns and 2 does on the west end of the course. There are a lot of hills and blind shots.
