Could Be A Real Gem but .......
The course is under new ownership and we were told it had set for several years with no one caring for it. Having said this the course is in abysmal condition. The front nine does not have a green that wasn't diseased and baron in spots. Almost impossible to putt on. The fairways were full of weeds, and you could barely tell the difference between the fairway and rough. The greens are small and almost all of them are domed shaped and near impossible to get a ball to stick. Oh and did I mention small gives a whole new meaning to postage stamp. Back nine was in better shape but was still sub playable. We payed $13.50 and I still felt a little snake bit on this one. Save your money!
Anniversary 37
Staff was very friendly and made it a very enjoyable experience. Front nine was hilly and the back a little more open. A couple of greens were in poor condition but overall good. Thanks for anniversary 37!

GREAT LAKER COURSE. ..PLAY AT YOUR PACE..GREAT PEOPLE...ALWAYS ENJOY THE COURSE! !!
Needs work
There are no signs at holes to let you know what hole your on. Good thing the card had a map on it. New owners said they were working on that. The front nine was a little ruff. Fairways had lots of funky grass almost like carpet grass.
Good course, great price
Been here before but they're trying to make it better and at a great price. Not long but enough challenge for better players.
Family Golf
What a pleasant surprise to find this gem tucked next to Sylvan Lake in Rome City. When I arrived, i was greeted with a smile, and a cart was quickly brought around for me. The two brothers that run the course were friendly, knowledgeable, and hard workers. The greens and fairways are in great shape compared to previous years under different ownership. Our summer lake crowd certainly appreciates that this family invested in our town and brought us an improved and fun experience. I can't wait to see what the next few years will bring, after seeing such a total turn-around in one year. Great job!
Can I have my money back?
This is hands down the worst course I've ever played. The fairway is the same length as the rough(long). The greens are awful. I have nothing positive to say about this course except for the bratwurst at the turn that I purchased tasted good. Except it was an overpriced $3. I'm never coming back. I only reccomend this course for beginners
Limberlost Golf Club
Limberlost is a traditional layout - not real long, but hilly and interesting to play. The course is in really good condition and fun to play for golfers of all ages and all skill levels. The greens are small, rounded and challenging to hold. There are grass bunkers protecting the greens - no sand traps, which I liked a lot.
The front nine is very hilly with a variety of blind shots. The back nine has fewer hills and I enjoyed the differences between the front and back nines.
The clubhouse is a vintage experience with friendly members and a great staff. I recommend this for a great time and a great value.
