Disability Discrimination
My friend who has brain cancer decided to take his father and brother golfing for father's day. He rented a golf cart, paid for the 3 of them, paid for 18 holes and was told by the person who he paid that it would be fine if they shared his brother's golf clubs. The owner approached them very rudely when they were nearly half way through and told him that they were playing to slowly and despite my friends patient explanation of his disability and the fact they had allowed everyone to play through their game the owner not only told them to leave but also that they were not welcome back and further told my friend he didn't look disabled. The owner decided that was not enough and also called the desk and told them to not issue him a refund. I can not imagine being so ugly and small as to demean a man bravely going through chemo and trying to make the most of his time with his father on Father's day no less. What an absolute disgrace to sportsmanship.
Terrible Experience
Clubhouse and owner extremely disrespectful, especially to non members
Good course with lack of publicity
Played this is June of 2019. Really good value for the quality of course ($22 for 18 in a cart), especially considering all the rain. The only main issue was you could tell they hadn’t move the pins in a couple days as the holes were a little worn. Course layout really starts to be enjoyable once you reach the par 3 4th. There’s some really cool holes over the creek and I enjoyed the tighter holes on the back 9. Definitely recommend as this course doesn’t seem to have much publicity. I live 20 miles away and hadn’t heard of it until the day before I played it! They also have a Mexican restaurant on site that had $1 tacos!
Good Course with Lack of Publicity
Played this is June of 2019. I was quite impressed. Did the early bird special, which was 18 holes w/cart for $22. Really good value for the quality of course. You could tell they hadn’t changed pins in a couple days as the holes were worn down some. First few holes are pretty basic and easy, but once you get to the par 3 4th it becomes a really fun course. I didn’t even know the course existed and only live 20 miles away. I think it’s a good course that not a lot of people know is there. Definitely recommend.
