You get what you pay for on this goat track
This course could use some drastic improvements all around. First, none of the holes are marked and there is minimal signage to direct you to the next hole. The hole location isn't obvious, so you have to search for the next tee. The fairways are pretty narrow and when you do manage to hit one, they aren't well kept. The fairway length is consistent with most "second cuts" at other facilities. The rough lives up to its name as it consists of thistle and large crab grass which will swallow your ball. There are quite a few blind shotspot, which I found interesting on a mainly par 3 course. We paid 5 per person, plus another 7 for a riding cart. I can see now, why it was so cheap. The one positive is that the staff were friendly when we arrived.
Enjoyable executive course
Enjoyable executive course, extremely friendly staff and course and greens were in good condition.
Short course
It is what it is, a short course that plays quick. Noble and Tyler behind the desk were very friendly and offered advice on how to maximize enjoyment on the short course.
Poorly run
My friend and I went out to do the 9 hole corse and we were told that our price included a cart. Once we got to the 9 hole corse we were kicked off and told that we couldn’t use a cart and we were not allow our money back
Great Executive Course
Staff inside and out were excellent!! Course had no surprises to it and the greens were in really good shape and ran true. Fun golf experience…… and isn’t that what it’s all about?
Nice quick round
Nice course for the money and nice to have a couple par 4s to change it up. You have to hit over a few hazards so makes it a little challenging there. I'll be coming back here more often. Got done in 1 hr 15mins for 2 of us
Great starter course
This course is perfect for taking my boys to get them acquainted with golf.
Good spot for quick/cheap short game work
The key to playing this course is by heading into it with the right expectations. If you show up looking for a great course to challenge your skills you will be disappointed. The $12 greens fee should prevent those expectations. If you are looking to get in a quick practice round that is a little more exciting than pounding a bucket of range balls I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I was. The fairways and greens were in decent shape. Tee boxes were good enough. The construction of new houses and scenery outside of the previously mentioned areas was not much to look at, but i wasn't there to take in the beautiful vistas of Polk County. I was there to work on short irons, chipping and putting. And I thought that was accomplished and it was worth the $12.
