Rolling Knolls Golf Course

Course is for mid range golfers who like to score well. Not extremely long, but long enough to use all of the clubs in your bag. The rough is playable, but the greens are difficult. Most of the greens are sloped and difficult to attack with your wedges. Great course for the money and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Will play again! and again!!

We had a family event at Rolling Knolls golf course. They accommodated the group very well. Course was in great condition and we were able to keep play moving easily. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. This course is one of the best kept secrets in Dubuque County, Iowa!

Worst experience ever!!! We called ahead and reserved a t-time for 11:30. We told them we would be playing a 6 person 18 hole best shot. We got there and paid. We were getting ready to t-off and the front desk clerk rudely came out and accused us of not paying. We all told her we were part of the best shot. She didnt apologize, but said she only charged us for 9 holes. I questioned how she missed that on all 6 players when she was told each time. She was immediately became defensive and I let it go. When we got to hole 7 there was two boys shooting frogs, with bb guns. My seven year old was with us and was horrified!!!! I called up to the club house and was told it was the owners son. I told her we were paying customers and it was bothering everyone!! She said to tell them to stop. I told her I already tried. She ended up hanging up on me. 2 minutes later the owner came down yelling at us. He said it wasn't bothering anyone else. (There was nobody near us because we allowed everyone to pass.) I have never been treated so poorly, or watched anyone talk to my 75 year old dad in the way the owner did. I have played that course numerous times. I will NEVER go back!!!!!!

Beautifully maintained and friendly owners. Number 7 a long challenge. If traveling along Rt 20 in Iowa, just a short distance off the highway. Price was great too.
