POOR GOLF COURSE
THE RUFFS WERE NOT CUT IN A WEEK. LOST BALLS TEN FEET OFF OF GREEN.

They had not mowed in quite a while, the greens are in horrible shape, they did not have the tee markers out and with not mowing couldn't tell hardly where the tee boxs were.
Challenging
Course has a lot of elevation change. We played late in the fall and greens needed attention, but it was a great experience.
Unpleasant
The recent weather has not served this course well. Overgrown rough makes it impossible (not hard, impossible) to find your ball if you miss a fairway. Poor drainage has soddenef the fairways so they are not playable. Greens are diseased and un-puttable. Weeds replace grass in many places you would expect to see grass.
Staff was very friendly, rest room faculties are spotless and accommodating and carts appear new and clean.
Good for <$10 a person
Very cheap greens fees. Only 9 hole course, with very rough cart paths. A lot of hills make it difficult at times. Enough shady spots to cool off under a tree, at least every other hole. No food, maybe 4 different drinks..... no beer on Sundays (all day) !!!!

Fun for a large group. Staff is friendly. For the price it was not bad.
Got a good rate.
Paid $5 for 18 holes with cart. The grass was not cut as short as other courses especially the tee boxes.
Where it the lawnmower
The fairways were way too small and the rough was so long that it was extremely difficult to find your ball. The first cut of rough was too long and the other rough was impossible. A few of the fairways were OK but generally not very good
Don't waste your time or money!
Do not waste your time or money on this course. I have played most of the state park courses and this one is by far the worst one out there. The tee boxes were shaggy at best. The greens were lost, and where there was grass it was as thick as my bedroom carpet. I couldn't really tell where the fairway was compared to the rough. All in all this was the worst course I've played all year long.
