Good Challenge
Course is in very good shape except the bunkers. They have the worst bunkers in the area. Not much sand in greenside bunkers, mostly dirt. Bunkers need serious attention.
Solid day
Course played fast and true.....greens nice speed. Windy at times but added to shot selection. Always fun day at the Ridge. Played in 3.5 hours.
Fun Course
If you’re hitting driver straight, you’ll be rewarded with some short irons into greens and good birdie looks. If it’s a rough day with driver, you’ll be forced to lay up a lot off the tee, especially on the back, and face long irons into greens. The key to this course is hitting it straight off the tee.
Worst Experience Ever!!
Terrible experience is an understatement. I’m 31 yes old avid golfer and was treated like a child with no explanation. We were made to skip 3 holes by the park ranger for playing slow when we were keeping up and then proceeded to be kick off for playing 53 seconds over a 4 person average time on the 11th hole. It seems if your not a member and there are members on the course you will be escorted off for no reason. Terrible service and lack of professionalism 100%!!! I have nothing good to say about this golf course other than do not ever take groups or family to golf here ever!! Date 5/19/2020

The course was great
The only complaint I have is that this is the 2nd booking through Golfnow and both times the golf pro at the counter isn’t very friendly not sure if it’s because the discount rate being paid but if they didn’t want to participate in Golfnow they didn’t have too. Otherwise the service at the bar and other staff were very friendly.

Great course
Challenging but not impossible . Course played long due to recent heavy rains. Course drains well but there was not a lot of roll on this date . Greens were very good, as usual . They are working on replacing a couple of traps ( why a 4 and not a 5 )
Get a brat inside with all the fixins .
Hunters Ridge
Working Cedar Rapids and found Hunters Ridge on Golf Now. Played after work until dark, very enjoyable front 9. Nice walk but distance from green to tee box may be an issue for some walkers.
Great round on a perfect night
Had a very good time and really enjoyed the course on a Monday evening. The course is in great shape and it helped that the weather was perfect. Greens and fairways are in best shape that I've seen in years.
Members
The ONLY thing that can get in your way at Hunters Ridge is the members. They tend to have an attitude on and off the course and WILL NOT let you play through on the Course. It can certainly ruin a round. I was a single behind 4 4-somes starting around hole 3. They all could have easily let me play through but chose not to. I asked the group in front of me and they said no, I'd just get hung up on anther hole. Golf course etiquette needs a little work on the Members. They normally play in the morning, so I suggest a later tee time.
Not sure where you got your fake account..you might want to read the comment before sharing your opinion. FIRST it wasn’t a weekend, SECOND, the members do that even let you through if you’re a 4some. So you’re evaluation is invalid
Find Three other friends to join you. Playing thru Three groups is not conducive on the Weekends and actually backs things up worse.

As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation.
