Great course for golfers out of State
Course is Semi Private. I think only people with out of state DL can play. I played on a wet October day. Early holes are well designed. Staff was super friendly. I have family in Washington and will play again. Can be a bit expensive on weekends.
Enjoyable 9-Hole Track
I've played here a few times and have had good experiences. The first six holes have some neat character and are county club style holes. The last three are more out in the open and what you'd normally find in Iowa. The view from the No. 1 tee box and No. 3 green is pretty cool.
It's a tad expensive, especially if you play 18 holes with a cart, which is $50. But many private and semi-private country clubs are that way for nonmembers so it comes with the territory. But if you walk nine holes, it's only $20 and reasonable.
There is OB left of the fairway on several holes. As long as you can avoid the occasional tree trouble, missing right is better. As long as you do that, the course is pretty scorable.
