Nice Course
Overall the course was very nice. They had had rain that week and was cart path only, so it played slow. The fairways were not in best shape because of the rain also.
Scenic course with great staff
The course is very scenic even though it's lined with homes. The layout is interesting with a lot of variety including plenty of elevation changes, dog legs and water-line fairways/greens. Many of the fairways slope drastically which was really challenging since I played in mid-Feb when all of the grass is dormant and they are experiencing a drought. I'm really looking forward to playing the course again when it's nice and green. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I was impressed with the course ranger who kept tabs on things. I was also impressed and surprised to see the beverage cart three different times, especially since it was February.
Fun by all!
Took some time off work to catch the great weather. The coarse layout was wide open . The bunkers and the water hazards kept us honest. The beer was cold and the carts were clean and easy to drive.
Falcon Ridge
The course overall is maintained well yet there are quite. A few areas where spots in the fairways are bare. Greens are amino ured well. Leaves were blown from the course as much as could be expected. Overall a nice challenging course. Pricing is a little on the upper end , especially for mid November
Good time, good course
The course was in great shape and has a lot of great holes. Relative new course designed around housing but still very good. I would recommend to play.
Best Greens of the year.
6400 yard blue made the course very accessible. Greens rolled true and were very healthy even given our rough summer. I was impressed. Nice day all around.
Golf now!
Greens pretty beat up but fairways were great. Beverage cart, spectacular. Great value via golf now.
Course in Great Shape
The greens, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. The greens rolled true.
Great day, great course
We played in the afternoon. Course was in amazing shape, pace of play was good. Greens and tees were pristine. Course is partly shaded and catches great breeze for afternoon play. Really enjoyed it
Falcon Ridge
First round of the year in early March, but the course was in good condition. Extremely windy, but not to tight where it hindered the game. Second time to play here and the value of the cost per round is great.
Falcon Ridge is awesome
Great course, awesome layout. Love the scenic views as the round progresses. Nice greens even for this time of winter.
Very good course
Played here in early November, as a single, with a new set of irons. Loved the course, not the irons. I'll play again.
always and still is my favorite KC metro course!!
great setting with super design and slope rating. the staff is always top of the line and the overall golf day is a A in the rating book...
costs are greater than expected
Booked a round for 2 on golf now. Said I owed $128 @ course. They added tax on after that. Clerk was very friendly but when I questioned the difference the club pro was really unprofessional about .
First impression
First impressions truly are everything. I will not be returning to this course with my business going forward due to the actions of a rude marshall. The Marshall took a simple misunderstanding of sticking to fairways vs the rough (which has only become customary in recent years and is not enforced at all courses) and after yelling it at us from a distance vs coming and politely reminding us to stick to the fairways we continued on in the rough after not being sure what he was trying to convey to us because any seasoned golfer knows walking all over in the tall grass searching for a sliced drive on an unfamiliar course vs going directly to the line you followed from the box is going to drastically affect pace of play which is paramount for courses these days. The Marshall again approached us and chose to threaten us with being removed from the course vs asking if there was a misunderstanding. We were in the wrong for where we drove the cart. We were not informed in the club house to stick to fairways which is fine, there are signs that state it but we did not notice it with being unfamiliar with the course and just trying to make sure we headed off the right tee since no one showed us or was around to send us off the first box. Long story short we will not be returning due to the actions of this particular Marshall. The clubhouse staff was perfectly fine.
Slow play on a nice day.
Course was in great shape for the most part. A few bunkers under repair. Pace of play was slow but the weather more than made up for it.
Nice layout
This is a well designed course with quite a bit of challenge to it. Only thing I wish were different is that the ball marks would be repaired. I know it is the golfers responsibility but that obviously isn't happening so the course needs to step in and protect their investment.
