Heritage Park Golf Course

I've played here quite often the last few months. It's a great golf course for the money, and the course is taken great care of itself. The layout is a little mundane, but the setting more than makes up for it. Open layout makes it easy to recover from the rough, and the greens are receptive for the most part.

Good course for any skill level. Overall the course is in great shape for this late in the season. Good idea to ride on this one, a few holes have a little distance from green to tee. I'd play there anytime.

Course was in very good condition, with very good weather. There were a couple greens with weed/rough areas; however, overall the course is in fine playing condition.

We had to play the back nine twice due to high school girls tournament. The greens have gotten much better since my last time out there. Bunkers were still a little soggy. fairways excellent! rough maybe needed a John Deere trim. water hazards full! one snagged my ball! lol!

I usually play the course several times a year and it typically is well maintained. The green are terrible. Bad fungus in most of them. Putts hop and bounce all over. Turf green side is patchy and absolutely awful. Tee boxes are dying as well. The fairways have not been mowed in what appears to be 5-6 days. I would not play there again if it was free.

I love the layout of this course and from the tips it plays pretty long when the wind picks up. The front 9 greens look awful but my group was warned prior to teeing off that they were in bad shape. Back 9 greens were in great shape for a public course. Several par 5's over 600 yds.

Overall a very good course. Front 9 had rough greens from heat, but price was reduced for this. Got hung up on back 9 with much slower pace. Marshals were very friendly.

Like the course layout and fairways. But greens were in bad condition. When they get them back in shape we would recommend it. It is a challenging cours

In the Kansas City area, golf is pretty expensive. It's really nice to know there is a course that's very nice and great to play, but is still very affordable at the same time. The Entire course was perfect! It's a long course though. Fairways were playing great with good roll and great lies. The roughs (which I was in a lot) were mowed down a little lower which made it easier to find your ball and also had somewhat of a shot to get out. Greens were perfect speed and the balls checked up great instead of rolling all the way through leaving a tough put. But the best part was the friendliness of the staff!
You guys were awesome! And really made our round very enjoyable! I will definitely be back!

I have played many courses all over the country and never been treated so bad. I called the superintendent of Johnson County to report the poor quality of this facility. Will never play this course again. The course itself was good but not worth the trouble of the staff.

Well maintained moderately challenging old course. We enjoyed our round and the course was in good condition considering time of year. Long distance between some greens and next tee box. Not a good walking course.

Played it since it opened. Always fun. Greens are in very good shape. And if we get a good deal of rain the fairways will fill in nicely. Rough is in good shape. Tall and lush. Will grab your club head rather quickly.

The course is looking good so far. Fairways should be green very soon. Rough is nice and thick. Greens rolled nicely and fairly fast for a public course. very good course for the money.

I would definitely recommend this course! Good layout!

The starter and course marshals were disconnected from events on the course or speed of play on the golf course. No one was managing the pace of play . Greens were absolutely terrible I won't go back

The rough was perfect for giving you something to overcome without being too punishing for a wayward shot. Liked all the water features (only got my ball wet once). Staff was very welcoming. The rental clubs were reasonably priced, and pretty decent compared to what some places have available. Wide fairways, great markings for navigating the course. Hope I can come back when it's warm out, and I don't have to go up 2 clubs and play the forward tees, but it was fun to play with temps in the 30's, and bright sunshine.

A very challenging course with great greens and fairways. The pace of play was very slow and made playing frustrating. I would play again.

I am a short hitter, so the course was challenging due to the length of some holes. The course is starting to brown, due to the type of grass they have, other than that, it was in great shape and the staff was very friendly.

Fairways are narrow and rough is tall. Water on many holes including hole 2,3&4. creek comes into play on many others. Too many people playing from the wrong tees.
