Course needs work
Fairways suffered in the heat early in the year and never fully recovered. Most greens were in decent shape. Hilly course which makes it a little interesting at times.. would play again
Not what it used to be !
I was a member of Pendleton C.C. until it was sold. Stayed a member for 2 years after new owner. Found it was costing more to be a member with only pool benefits as the service not provided to daily payers.Played often for a year then started playing other courses. Now play ther 2 times this year. Greens are pretty good, smooth and pretty quick, with some burn out. Fairways are about 40 % bare overall with lots of bare (dead or burnt grass) we played at 12:00 on Sunday- Played pretty fast, but for 3 Hours on a 90 + day only saw 1 sprinkler being used. Nice course left to go bad.
Simple things could improve the experience
5 1/2 hr. round today. 2 groups ahead of us-a fivesome. Directly in front of us-a foursome with only 2 golf bags. 3 players playing off one bag since the fourth was left handed. No ranger on the course all day. No beverage cart on the course. No water in the ball washers. Heard their hurting for business but this was ridiculous.
The 4-some in front of us had no gold etiquette whatsoever. They were over a full whole behind the group in front of them and would sit an chat on the tee box, they all would look for everyone's ball, they wouldn't get ready to hit till it was their turn then take many practice swings, no clue or didn't care that they were holding up the whole course. Of course this isn't the courses fault that they attract people who don't know how to behave on the course, but it is the courses fault that they didn't have a ranger to keep play moving. It was 95 degrees and humid, very uncomfortable, but the water jugs were out there, full and clean.
Course is ok but GPS didn’t work they changed the front to the back which messed up the GPS And yardage markers were missing most of them trying to find markers for yardage took up time
course is in great shape love the layout. The problem is the back 9 skycaddie gps doesn';t work.
Fun & challenging for sure.
It was a hot & windy day but still nice out. The course was crowded but it moved along pretty well. They were having a juniors event but that did not impact our round. We were a twosome and we paired up with another twosome and those guys were fun. All in all, the course was in great shape. Front is somewhat easier and the back has several blind tee shots which make it fun.
Corse was in great shape and staff was obviously there to meet our needs.
You can always nit-pick and find things that could be improved but this course never disappoints. Always in good shape and a fun challenging round.
Greens excellent condition
My wife and I love this course it's in great shape and I like the layout. I just wish the GPS would work on the back side. Over all really nice course.
Fairways and greens improving
greens and fairways are coming back, still lots of crab in fairways. but can be fixed in spring with some care.greens just airified. kinda sandy.
