Nice Hidden Gem
Very friendly staff, course in great condition. Nice Senior tees for short hitters.
Not that bad
The course is getting better but still has problems e.g the 5th hole par 5 green is still bad. The course seems to be filled with locals (with mild understanding pace of play) as they all need but I would not recommend outsiders come to this course. To many hackers and to many divots on the green, bunkers are poor (un-raked). Good to see high school teams play here but not for mid to low handicappers who love good course layout and finishing before 5 hours
Great improvements
Course is in way better shape than previous years.
Better than expected
Never played here before and I understand they have been turning this place around. Yeah it's kind of out there but for the price the value was great. one of the best hot dogs I've ever had on a course and not pricy at all. The course was a lot of fun and in pretty decent shape. We played the tips to give us some added yardage. We did get lost once but figured it out. Overall don't expect a top course and you will be pleasantly satisfied.
Thank you for your review and feedback, Jamie. We're glad to hear you have enjoyed our course and we hope to have you back soon!
General review
Twin Bridges is a more than decent course. It makes you play golf shots. You can't just go out there and swing for the fences. Precision is the name of the game. It's a true Northern KY course with it hilly terrain and rough patches. Under new ownership the place has a pep in its step. Clubhouse concessions are priced very well. The greens fees may be a little bit on the high side, but their membership rates cannot be beat.
I bet the course get the best of you and you'll leave there thinking "was it that hard...".
Much improved
We played this course about 9 months ago and it was not in good shape. We swore off playing it again, but after learning ownership changed hands and finding a good deal on golfnow, we gave it a shot. The course is in much better shape - the tee boxes and greens were well kept. Only recommendation - need to improve cart paths. I will definitely look to play there again.
Thanks for your review, Kris. We are pleased to hear that you have noticed improvements in our course. We're looking forward to having you back!
Great people at a great course.
Great course, good price and the food is a 10.
We're proud of it! Thanks for the 5 Star review, Avery. Hope to see you soon!
Nice casual atmosphere out of the way course
Front 9 is average until you get to #5 then the uphill par 5 is somewhat unusual. The back 9 after #10 is extremely tight and much more difficult if you are not hitting it extremely straight. Could use some tree trimming on #12 as overhanging branches from tee can catch even a well hit shot.
Thanks for you review and feedback! We will address this situation internally. Otherwise, we are glad you had an enjoyable day and hope you decide to play with us again soon.
Where am I?
First of all, I played bad. I had 2 blowup holes. My fault.
The good stuff...The fairways are in fantastic shape. The first cut off the fairways are easy to hit off of. The cart was nice. The clubhouse looks like a place I would hangout out at after a round.
The bad,,,Hole 5 just needs to be blown up. There is no green. It's a flag in the middle of the fairway. Sprayed orange sign says "Max 2 putt". OK, thanks. Supposedly it's been this way for a long time. Almost all of the greens except 9 and 18 are awful. I don't know if it's people aren't fixing their ball marks properly or they're just not rolling the greens right. Your ball is going to pop all over the place when you putt. Get used to it. A few of the greens are badly diseased.
My number 1 issue is the course layout and signage. Tee 1 and 10 share a tee box. There is no signage that says which is which. Oh, I forgot, NONE of the tee box markers were in place. They were piled off to the side. Which direction do I go? The signage is awful. On 2 tee box, we were told we were on 9. Hole 7... hmmm... took us almost 10 minutes to figure out where 7 tee WAS and in what direction to hit. Again, NO tee box markers were in place to help with direction. Also on 7 tee, the sign is on the ladies tee box. ???? We just started going the detective route used the cart path to try and figure out where we're supposed to go. 17 tee is about 2 holes over from 16 green. If I guy hadn't been on (I think) 12 tee we would have never found it. The course is really tight and because of the bad signage, I hit on the wrong fairway twice. Fore!
Spend $500 on some signs or at least spray some arrows on the cart paths!!! We could have played 30 minutes faster if there was some smart signage. Suggestion, take someone out that has never been to the course and figure out where they are getting lost.... sign needed there!
For $20 it was worth the trip. But bring a GPS on your phone or range finder to help. Will I be back? I don't think so.
flagspings golf course
Tee Boxes were rough hard to find a flat spot to teemy ball. It had rained the day before so the greens were slow, overall the course was in decent shape.
Very well kept
Only played the back 9, but the course was in excellent condition and is fairly forgiving on most holes. Hole #11 and #13 are fairly narrow. But overall, I would play this course again and recommend it to anyone.
Nice course
I enjoyed this course. Nice staff and nice views. The uphill and downhill fairways provide some challenges. The greens were in good shape with exception to hole 5 which was under some construction. We were informed of this by staff prior to starting our round. Stopped in the clubhouse on the turn. There was no food ready. They ended up microwaving my Mett. Edible but chewy. Would like to see more indicators regarding tee box location and distances along the fairway. Overall nice course. I live out of state and am in the area once or twice a year but I wouldn't mind visiting the course again.
Little Gem
It's a great little course way out in California. Wish it was closer and I'd play every week. If your looking to play a different course this is one you should try.
Flagg sptings
Greens in good shape . Nice shorter track . Adventure back 9
Flagg Springs
Most of the tee boxes were not level, had more dirt than grass as well. Some of the greens were inconsistent with the rest of the course. One hole is missing an entire green and they have a flag in the middle of the fairway. Some of the greens are already dirt and it's only May
Great day
I had a great time. While I had played here before m, the guys I played with hadn't and they had a great time also and we will all be back
Good Fairways
The fairways were in good shape. Great day for first time out in 2015.
Hard to find your ball
The course was not well maintained. Balls were lost in leaves in fairways and in the grass just off the fairways. Temporary tees and greens were not placed on level ground. No yardage markers and blind fairway shots to greens.
Workin progress
Other than one hole the course is in great shape. Had a good round and looking forward to playing there soon.
Quickly becoming my favorite course
Quickly becoming my favorite course, they're still working on the fifth and sixth greens but its such a great course with challenging holes, and the lunch specials are pretty awesome
Thanks for the review, Logan! We are thrilled to hear that you have noticed improvement in our course. We've worked hard on keeping up with it in order to satisfy our golfers! Hope to see you again soon.
