Penisula Golf Poor
Poorly maintained. GPS not functioning. Disgrace to Pete Dye's name
This course needed some work on the back 9
The back 9 needed to have the far ways and roughs cut. Made play a little slow having to look for balls in the rough.
Amazing Shape !!!
The course is in excellent condition! The greens were perfect! I live 45 mins away but I will definitely come back many times I was that impressed!
Great Pete Dye course!
This course is always fun. Pete Dye knows how to challenge you, while making it fun.
Challenging course, fairways hard despite all the rain we have had recently.
Great course. Have played several times. Always challenging, especially today with wind 15-25 mph. Felt like I was always hitting into the wind. Greens are nice, and feel sort of small which adds to the challenge. Bunkers were very hard, felt almost like concrete. Pete Dye courses are always evil. Will definitely return for more torture.
Needs serious attention
This was a great lay out but the course is in horrible shape. The GPS system was set up for a different course. The sand traps had more rocks and water then sand. The course needs a new drainage system because the entire course was soaked. Overall not a very good experience and very doubtful if ill ever go back.
Good shape. Nice track
Busy with a scramble but pace of play pretty good. Nice staff and course in good shape.
Great challenging greens.
I enjoyed the course. The fairways were good, the rough was fair, and the greens are excellent.
Early Year Blues
Course has a nice layout. The fairways needed a trim and the greens needed some speed. I looked in several of the sand traps and there was mud and rocks.
This would be a great course with some TLC. I would expect it to be better over the summer.
Much needed attention
The course was in poor shape. Front nine fairway lot of bare areas. Back nine fairway long enough for grass to grab club. Ruff thick and tall could not find ball. Advertise GPS on carts but GPS hole map not for that course. Lots of blind shots.
Peninsula is just fun. It has a great layout and provides great variety.
I think every guy or gal likes to think they are teeing off in a tour event when you hit the first tee box. The church row bunkers from Oakmont come to mind when you line up your tee shot to start your day. That's the kind of feeling you want to have playing a round of golf.
Wow, what a change.
The course is was one of the finest in the state. The club house has no drinks or snacks... My wife bagged the over filled trash can in the womens restroom and set it in the hall. The sand traps are all but gone and now are a sandy mud and muck trap. This is the second outing in this month. GPS did not work at all the first trip and yesterday..the GPS was on but goodness knows what it was doing.
Perhaps this spring it will go back to being a top course but now it is worth the Bargan price of $15.00 but not the regular pricing.
Awesome course at an Awesome price!
Played this course in Dec and it looked like it was June or July. Fast greens, smooth fairways & tee boxes. Very Nice!
Course was in great shape for time of the year.!
This is a great course nestled away in a rural area surrounded by beautiful scenery. Course was in great shape for a very dry summer. Staff was friendly and helpful as always. Definitely a course I want to play as often as possible.
