I WILL BE BACK
A VERY ENJOYABLE DAY OF GOLF, COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE. I BOOKED THROUGH GOLF NOW AND THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AND I WOULD PAY A FEW DOLLARS MORE TO PLAY HERE. BETTER THAN PAYING LESS FOR A COURSE THAT IS IN LOT WORSE CONDITION.
What happen to Wildcat
Course is in some of the worst shape I have ever seen it in 20 years. What’s wild is there was course maintenance on every hole as well. Thru out the entire round.
Enjoyable Course
1st game in 9 months - good course but very poor performance. Greens lightning fast.
Course is in terrible shape
I have played at Wildcat over the years many times in the winter and summer. The course was in very bad shape, especially the greens. While I understand it is the winter, I will say it is the worst I have seen in the area. Also, with the price paid I would expect a lot more. As many other courses are charging way less this time of the year, and the quality is way better.
Nice Interesting Course
One of my favorite courses in the area. Interesting layout. Good value.
Loved the course.
Everything here was great! Driving range was really nice and loved the layout of the course. Will definitely be back.
Great course.
First time playing the wildcat course. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely be back. Practice range was top notch also
Goat ranch
The Wildcat course has fallen off. Worst greens I’ve encountered in years, not sure if the staff has rolled them this season. Multiple dead spots & dirt patches throughout the greens & fringe. Standing water in most traps. Tee boxes unkept. Embarrassment for the university
Greens Poor
Liked the layout but the greens were POOR! Some had crabgrass, and some spars missing grass and bumpy. Those with grass were very slow. Not worth the hour drive. Will not be back my municipal course green is better.
Slightly disappointed
This course used to be one of my favorites to play in Central Kentucky. The layout is a fun layout. However, the course was in such poor condition that it took away from the fun. The greens were in poor condition. The fairways were bare in spots. And the collars looked like they were diseased. It was sad what that course has become.
Withering Away… 😛
This course was always in excellent/above excellent condition until fairly recently. Seems like the owner is only concerned with keeping Big Blue in great shape. I’ve been playing both courses for around 20+ years and this is the worst Wildcat has ever looked by far. The greens have diseases, bare spots throughout and fringe, ball marks peppered everywhere, it’s really sad how they’ve let it go but it’s still a nice layout and value.
July 2023 Mini Golf Vacation
Nice course and layout. Slow play as I was to have been paired up with a twosome but they didn't show. No worries as I don't mind playing as a single when playing a new course. The trouble is when you stuck between foursome and at the 2nd tee there always some wise guy who got a snide comment about why did they let single out and we'll it's going to be a long day for you. That's because they didn't have enough curiosity to even let you play through. So yes it is an unnecessary long day and waiting. No starter or ranger who could have help remedy both issues.
Nice course but not the Big Blue
The course conditions were very good overall. The sand traps were questionable. There were some sand traps that were there one my previous round that were now grass and patchy. The worst was it was 95 degrees with a heat index was off the chart and I didn't see but 1 water station. All in all it was a great day and the course was in good shape. I would play it again.
Over booked.
It seems like every time I play here it has been over booked. Wether it’s big blue or wildcat. You can’t find any rhythm because all you do is stand around. It’s a shame because it’s a nice course but very poorly managed. I won’t ever book here again. So frustrated. We couldn’t even finish 9 under 4 hours.
