Get some signs!
I really did like this course other than there are no hole numbers or distance markers you can easily see. You had to drive to the cart path to find a distance marker. How hard is it to put white stakes at 150 out. And a sign with the hole number and layout I thought was standard but I guess not. Other than that the course was a fun layout and had fun.
Greens
Greens have just been worked and we're awful would've played elsewhere if had of known.
Crooked Creek
Friendly staff. Course was in good condition. Layout is challenging. Highly recommend.
Pathetic
My cart died before I reached the 1st green. No yardage indicators at all and all the tee markers are the same color. If you can't see all 4 markers, due to 1 being up the hill behind you or something of that nature, you have to walk all the way up to them to see what marker it is. They have what marker they are written on them, but it's small and hard to read from a distance. No gps service either. I won't be back until they put up some yardage markers.
Good course
Good course to play but why isn’t there water on the course for the golfers. There are two places on the course I saw where there has been water. Two places where water coolers have been. Where’s the water especially on a hot day like today.
Have to play all clubs in your bag
Course is really coming into shape after tough winter and spring. Layout make course management premium, greens rolled good and true, fairways greening up. The Oaks always a fun round.
Not a good experience
The guy working the clubhouse is an arrogant a@#. No signs marking the holes, so you will get lost. Both carts we had almost died by the 15th hole. Fairways have not come in, all hay and dirt.
Picturesque and challenging
The course was extremely wet and the fairways were unplayable in places. Obviously, it played very long and it was necessary to "lift and place" quite often.
I assume the experience will be much better when the course dries out and the Bermuda grass is healthy.
The greens were in great shape.
Tee times
We called for a tee time for Monday morning. Spoke with a gentlemen in Sunday. Guess what? We arrived at 8:00 am and the golf course is closed until 12:00 noon..Now we are traveling back to Richmond with our threesome
Nice course and great staff
I was impressed from the tee on 1 to the last putt on 18. The picturesque layout of the course through the foothills of London KY was awesome. The course was really wet, but from the rain we have had it was understandable. The addition of The 19th Hole pub was the cherry on top, good food and friendly staff. I will definitely recommend this course to anyone and I look forward to my next golf outing there.
Greensslow
Needed to mow greens they were ver slow. They did say there were going to roll them soon.
COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE
I WOULD RECOMMEND GIVING CC ANOTHER CHANCE IF YOU GAVE UP ON IT IN THE PAST.
Very nice course
I would give this course a five stars but course was closed for some time. Reopen under new owner and management. They are working very had to improve conditions of the course. Very nice fairways and greens and I like the design and layout of the holes. One of the best course in lake Cumberland. I live 60 miles from course and will play a lot more times.
Course coming around
Have played here a few times. Was shut down earlier in the year but now has new owners. Nice course well worth the money and new folks are friendly. Greens and some other areas still need some work but seems to be headed in right direction. Would recommend to anyone to play here.
first game
Course is in good shape considering the brutually cold winter we've had in the area. Fairways are still really wet, but the greens are already nice. Great golf experience everytime.
Crooked Creek is in GREAT SHAPE!!
I have played Crooked Creek many times and it is in great shape every time. The staff is extremly friendly. I highly recommend it.
Good course!
This course was in good shape and had some of the best greens I have played on!
