Rum Pointe Golf Course
About
Situated just a few miles south of Ocean City, Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links has a scenic location on the Sinexpuxent Bay that overlooks Assateague National Seashore Park. Pete Dye and his son P.B. designed the course. The renowned father/son team created a Scottish links-style course with no less than 17 holes that have a view of the bay and plenty of risk-reward opportunities. More daring players may try to shorten the distance on a few holes by starting their ball over water. There are five diverse sets of tees allowing it to be challenging enough to be a PGA Tour stop from the back tees, but there are also middle tees that are forgiving enough for beginners to approach with confidence. The golf course is the only one in the area that features bentgrass on the fairways and greens.

Beautiful course
We had an excellent time & pace of play was incredible!
WOW
What a gem. Two 20 handicappers and two 30 handicappers in our group, and not one melt down. The course is beautiful, challenging, and forgiving enough that we all had opportunity to make shots and enjoy the round.
The play in from #9 and #18 to the clubhouse is as pretty as it gets, and the tracks easy dives in and out of coastal views really round out the experience.
Highly recommended for all players. I'll be back for sure.
A must if you are in the area..
Played in outing with the Jersey City Fire Dept...treated very well by the staff..the course is absolutely beautiful with some if the nicest views of the bay....the course is challenging.....enjoyed very much,a must play!!!!!
Pretty but holes close together
Nice course although the greens were just aerated so they were in fair shape. Slow play often had 4 groups on one hole. Play felt slower than actual due to the tight layout and overlapping greens and tees.
Not really worth the trip from Bethany but would be okay from OC.
Great 18 holes on the bay
Just a great course. Well worth the money and will definetly be making a point to play this course again. Tremendous scenery and feel for this course right on the bay.
One of the best in the OC area
Rum Pointe remains one of the besk courses in the Ocean City area. It's mostly a links-style layout, with only a couple of holes back in the trees and with several holes right on Sinepuxent Bay. Course was in very good condition overall and the greens held good shots and putted well. If you can get a discounted tee time from GolfNow, it's also a very good deal - we paid less than $50 per player...excellent rates for a high-end course in a resort area during the peak season.
Beautiful Golf Course / Beautiful Day
If in the area, you gotta play this course. Scenery was beautiful. Course was well maintained and the pace of play was exceptional ! The GPS on the carts is a great plus !
Excellent Course
Golf course was in great shape and the scenic views are outstanding. Staff was friendly and helpful. Special hats of to Christina at the bar, she was charming and full of personality and made the 19th hole a great way to end a great day of golf.
Will definitely play again.

Great course
One of my favorite courses in OC. Staff is always great and course is always in good shape. Thanks!
One of my favorites
Every year we travel to OCMD, and play multiple courses. Rum Pointe is always a must play. Staff is friendly, and the course is a great combo of beauty and tough.
Good experience
Last time I played this course, all I could remember was the massive quantity of bugs all over you. This time was different. The front nine was very exposed and somewhat breezy but still nice. The back nine was more wooded and challenging. Saw some deer on the course which was neat.
Good course. I would play again for the right price.
Very friendly staff
As always this course never disappoints. I personally feel it is the best course in the area and I have played them all. It's very playable, as long as the wind isnt strong. If it is ,you are going to be challenged. The staff has always been friendly and always have smiles on their faces. It's on of my top 5 favorite course anywhere.
Favorite course of OC trip
Absolutely loved this course. Howling winds, links golf, and amazing views throughout the round. Conditions were great, and we actually preferred this overall to Lighthouse Sound. It was undoubtedly in better shape.
Well worth the money
Outstanding Dye course with a fun and breathtaking layout. Great facilities and friendly staff. Played 18 in about 4 hours from the blue tees (and played slow).
Great course in impecible shape. Will absolute be back again soon.
Great course, challenging, but fair
The course is beautiful and first class all the way! The wind was blowing about 35 mph all day! This made the course a bit of a challenge on 6 holes which are directly into the wind. This course is worth the money and will always be on my to play list. Stunning views and great conditions!
Top 3 in OC. Bring your A game and a camera.
The course in great shape "as usual" staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Pick the right tee for an enjoyable day especially if the wind is blowing and don't just look at the yardage the large, undulating greens make two putts very difficult if you are on the wrong tier. Holes #8 and #16 worth the greens fees alone. Book it now and you will not be disappointed!
Nice Track
Rum Pointe was a treat for my 3 buddies and myself. They had too many golfers on the course - which slowed play down a lot. 8 minute tee times on cart path only conditions do not mix well. The course is a beaty, and other than being wet from the night before, it was in graet shape for this early in the season. We will definitely go back - but may opt to play mid-week to avoid the crowds and big pricetag for the weekend players.
Best course in the area
This is my most enjoyable course to play. It is challenging, but also player friendly. It is so beautiful.
