Purported to Be Oldest In Country

Solid 9 hole course that has some interesting old school greens. Course is walkable but does play over rolling terrain.

Conditions were fine.

No Bluegrass But Perfect 1st Course for Me in Kentucky

Decided to create a new challenge - play the oldest course (when possible - some are private) in each stated. Started with Middlesboro Country Club today and could not have asked for a better experience. Staff was super friendly. Course provided beautiful back drops. Little sand and a couple of creeks, but hazards were mainly of the self-inflicted variety. Would definitely play this course again, if I find myself back in the area. Can understand why the club membership is steadily growing. Fun place to play and quite the value.

Oldest in America

Neat 9 hole course nestled in the mountains of Middlesbroro ky. Course was mown very nicely and in great condition.
However the greens are in bad shape. Looks as if they are struggling to not lose them.
Overall a good day.

Excellent course in perfect condition and the staff there are very friendly

The greens at the course may be a little fuzzy but slowly get cut more and more everyday the fairways look as good as every other course I’ve played around the Kentucky, Tennessee area and then you have the staff who treated me like I was the owner of the course. The prices there were very well placed for $20 to play all I wanted to play this course is perfect

Perfect lay out!

The course is laid out great. Just needs some tender loving care. Greens are not very good. But I will play again. Was very peaceful out there.
