Dirt Fairways
I have played here in the past and enjoy the overall layout and challenge. However, right now, wouldn't reccommend this track due to the poor conditions. The greens are in good shape, but that's about it. Every fairway is void of grass and roped off where you must drop your ball. I spoke to the super and they are trying their best to get it back into shape asap. Maybe try it next summer.

I have played this course in the past and it was great but the have had some serious problems lately. The fairways have been demolished. We literally had to try to hit around the fairways.
Nothing but mud!
Wait until next year
They have sprigged all of the fairways and aerated the tee boxes. There is very little grass. I'm sure the course would be nice, but it is very hard to tell right now. They did not notify before the round that all the work was being done to the course. Most of the course is mud.

All the fairways are being reseeded. Very very poor quality. Unless you enjoy playing in the mud.
Great potential, horrible fairways
This course seems like it is a year or two away from being spectacular, but the current conditions make it unplayable. The fairways were the worst I have ever seen, and I play mainly at (what I previously thought were) the worst courses in the state. The people were nice, the facilities were top notch; but like I said, you just can't play golf there when you're hitting straight drives but then hitting second shots out of dirt every hole. Drives in the fairway would roll just a few yards, high short iron shots would sink halfway into the mysteriously swampy ground upon impact (it hadn't rained in days) if you missed the green. Good tee boxes, good enough greens, lots of nice views, and they kept cold water out in many locations. Very frustrating day, though, if you came to play golf.
Greens nice spedd and condition..fairways?
As is the case with all courses in our area with Bermuda grass fairways, the cold weather has affected their condition. It will probably be 30 days before the warm and humid weather has them grown in.
