Great course but the staff can be short and rude
Great beautiful course in great condition, that is a lil too expensive for what it is right now. The staff can be short and rude but they aren’t that way all the time.
Park Mammoth was amazing
Park Mammoth lived up to the hype. My buddy has been bragging on it for the past year and I finally got to experience it for myself. Revamped driving range was in great shape. Beautiful tee shots all throughout the course with change in elevation aesthetically pleasing. The course was in great shape. Fairways & greens were both pristine. Several greens provide for creative putts with the undelation. We will be back!
Incredible
The course was immaculate. Absolutely a gem. Not a blemish anywhere. Not the most challenging layout, but don’t let that fool you. The greens are fast and true. The pin placements on US Open week were some of the most challenging imaginable. Better bring your short game. I would definitely play this course again. Lastly shout out to Chester. One of the friendliest and knowledgeable starters I’ve met and his pride for the course shined through!
a silk purse from a sow ear
they took a old rundown course and changed it into a nice course. they turn it into a links style course with a lot of tall grass and sand. the only thing I didn't like about the course is the tall banks beside the greens when you hit out of the bunkers the ball usually roll back into the bunkers but when the grass catches it on the side it's hard and dangerous trying to walk up the bank to hit your ball the greens are great for a new course several holes had a lot of dead spots around the greens. overall a great course I will be back to play it again now that I know what not to do. plus they need a map of the course on the cart where you know where to go to
Fun course
Friendly staff. Practically a good lie from anywhere on the course aside from the rough. Easy course to shoot low scores. Links style courses are my favorite.
Beautiful course
Wow what a great course when I pulled into the parking lot I was meet by a gentleman with a golf cart offering to load my golf clubs on the cart and they had water a towel tees divot repair tool on the cart for me I will b back they did do aerating on the greens but I could see the these greens are fast ....If you ever get a chance to play there ...DO SO.....
Nice layout
Nice course near Mammoth Cave. Lots of elevation changes. Course was in great shape. Currently there is not a clubhouse just a trailer but it serves it's purpose. Someone said a clubhouse is coming. Very friendly staff. The course has a " app " for your phone for a gps. Apparently the course is so new other gps apps don't work. Only complaint is it would be nice if there were some directional flags for some of the blind shots. There is a nice driving range( balls are included with your green fees). There is also a nice practice putting green near the first hole. There is also a chipping green near the driving range.
Hidden gem
We were driving back to Michigan from Nashville. Found this place out GolfNow. What a find! This course is new in the last year or so. They are still working on the club house and other areas, but the course is in fantastic shape! So many great views and elevation changes. We played from the yellow tees, which was shorter then we usually play (5,400 yards). It was such a great experience. They meet you in the parking lot with a cart and wipe your clubs when you are done. Chris was the nicest guy and gave us great info. They are working on stay and play condos….This will be a perfect place for that. Just an overall fun place to play!
Super fun layout
Great fun, worth the trip from Nashville! Course has a fun layout and was in great shape. Some slow players out there though, pick up the pace!
Beautiful Course
The course was beautiful and in great shape. The course is really wide open so you can see almost every hole from anywhere on the course. It was an interesting design with some amazing views. The greens were slower than I expected but had plenty of undulations. I would recommend this course to others and plan to return. I don’t think I’ll play again on a windy day. It sits in a bowl and 10-13 wind felt like it was swirling.
Hidden Valley Gem
I've been playing this course since it was renovated 2 years ago. And it gets remarkably better every time I come back. Let me first say that the course is simply beautiful. The ground crew and maintenance crew do a wonderful job of taking care and pride in this course. The fairways and greens are amazingly groomed. Hats off to the whole crew! From tee to green you won't find a more playable and scorable golf course. But beware. It will bite you from time to time! But with wide fairways and large greens it encourages you to test your skill set. I drive an hour to play here and I absolutely love this course. But don't tell anybody else about it! 😆
Course Now Known as Park Mammoth
Course was completely redone and is now called Park Mammoth. IMO it is a too 10 public course in the state. Course has very good golfing terrain, 18 modern, undulating greens and just the right amount of bunkering.
A must okay for the Kentucky public golf. Course architect Brian Ross did a great job.
