Fast pace
Playing solo, I finished in less than 3 hours. I had to wait on the 18 tee only, so no complaints about the pace of play. If you're looking to get a fast weekday round in, this is a good place. Greens are in great shape and consistent throughout the entire course! If you're on in regulation, birdies opportunities are frequent. Fairways are furry and need to be cut shorter. Tee boxes are furry as well. Not a single bunker on the course. It seems that basically a huge hay field was was turned into a golf course, so particular detail that is given to nicer courses is not given to this course. If you're trying to show out of town friends a nice course on a beautiful weekend, this is not the place to go. But if you're looking for a nice quick round during the week that is a good value just to get your golf fix, this is a good place.
course condition improved but need ranger
Course was in good shape compared to the 20 times I've played out there. They desperately need a ranger. Most of our 4.5 hrs. was waiting time.
tooldoc
Greens have little drainage as they were still wet at 3:00pm on a sunny day. Lost my ball 4 times in the fairway as there was hardly any difference in fairway or rough cut grass. Almost every hole is out of bounds right. Still a good course for the price. I would say cow pasture golf but good to hone your game.
Playing in a pasture
If your looking for a place that's open and easy and don't care too much about conditions then this is your place. There were more weeds than grass including, the white puffy ones. They were everywhere and made finding your ball incredibley difficult.
Not bad. Fun place
Short, open, slow, great learing course as the par 3s are not wedges, and the par 5s are straight... Greens are too slow, easy golf course, shot 67...
Fun to play while not being too easy
Started playing around 2 pm and never had to wait to start a hole. The greens were well maintained and at about a medium speed. The greens were soft enough to be aggressive but firm enough to putt properly. The course has features that add to your overall enjoyment while being open for the most part. There are 4 holes that have a creek in play but On most holes pulling it 25 yard wont cost you your ball. There are 3 holes if you slice your drive you’re out of bounds and ball is never to be seen again. Hole 11 is a difficult 220 plus uphill par 3 that I love to par when and if I do. I love playing the 18th hole; It’s a great par 4 over the water with a raised mound green only 12 yards between the hole and the cup. I play this course a lot because it’s close to my house but I like it and would play it a few times a year even if it wasn’t close.
good place and cheap
this course has good status for it's price. I t's not the best, but it's price is cheap and not bad to play. I sometimes play here with my wife.
Easy course. close to the Interstate
Fairly open and easy play. All par 3's are a bear!
Awful
If you do not like being treated like a second class citizen do not book a tee time to this course through golfnow. The guy working the front desk was a jerk and unprofessional. The customer service is not the only atrocious thing about this course; the course is essentially an old cow pasture with no noticable fairway. However, the greens were respectable; but that could be equivocal to putting a girl who is a 6/10 next to a bunch of girls that are 2/10, the six sneaks up to an 8--the fairways were 2/10, sneaking the greens up to an 8/10
Only play here if you're strapped for cash
This is what my friends and I refer to as a cow patch course lol, we only play here when there isn't a cheap time on golfnow.com. Given that, their greens are usually in decent shape which, to me, makes it playable. The course has the potential to be a nice facility but they obviously need upgrades in several areas. We went here a couple years ago and it resembled a jungle, we actually called the clubhouse after 2 holes to see if we could get a refund. They refused but offered a rain check so we took it and come back when it was in a little better shape. Players beware!!
