Worth the trip

Don't you hate all the dumb reviews people post about golf courses ? Here is a short but useful review.
This course is well worth the drive to play but, you should stay overnight and play it twice since it is almost as far north as you can go and still be in lower 48 states. The clubhouse is in Maine but the course is in Canada. You do not need a passport as long as you park in the Maine parking lot, not the NB , Canada lot. We played the BACK tees. From these tees the course is very challenging. The middle tees are better for the shorter hitters.
The greens were fast and true but very undulated. Not too soft not too hard. wonderful !
The tee boxes were very hairy and in need of cutting.
The rough was fairly short and being mowed as we teed up on the first tee. The fairways were narrow at times and wide at other times.
The course design is fantastic and the scenery is marvelous. The course is layed out on a very high elevation hillside, so it can be windy. Food and drink is good in clubhouse and staff is very professional right down to the very attractive wait staff. I live 3.5 hours away and cant wait to go back.

The course is beautiful and challenging.

This would be one of the best courses you would ever play. Hidden secret or maybe a treasure! Really well designed. A must play course and along the way some beautiful scenic area of Canada and USA.

Nice views - mountains and hills - trees and water

The only course you can hit your tee shot in one Country and end up in other? Greatest course in northern Maine.
