Good course
The course has a good layout and challenging. The greens were in pretty good shape for the first month being open for regular play. This course also has a grass range which is rare for the area.
65 degrees in January
It rained the entire night before. We tees off at 11:30 and the course was in great condition for the middle of January in Maryland. Staff was great and the course played very well. If you have the chance play this course it’s fun
Good conditions, slow play
The course was in good shape. The pace was very slow today. The Marshall seemed proactive and visible. Great golf for the money. Look forward to playing there.
I read all the reviews and took a chance, and it was a waste of my time and money. Run far away from this course. They don’t cut the grass at all in the rough. The greens were shaggy with lots of crab grass growing everywhere, the fifth hole was the worst of them, the fairway grass was just as long as the rough. I lost a few balls in the fairway. They also wanted me to share a cart with a stranger or pay $ 10 to ride by myself . After I complained about it for a while and ask them how they get away with not complying to the rules set by the state, I was given a solo cart. I tried to make the best of it but it was just terrible, and when I got to the 18th tee box, some workers in the fairway waved me down to them and told me I couldn’t play the last hole at all. I asked what should I do. He said “ just go play another hole” ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! Again my golf friends, pass the word and stay far far away from the wetlands course. If you ask me, they need to close this place down...
Great shape
First time playing this course. Friendly staff who even took time to give me a book and course overview.
The Marshall kept the players moving.
Green were quick.
Looking forward to next time
Watch the charges!
We booked a hot deal time for $5 less than normal fee, but later realized we were charged an extra $5 for the cart fee and ended up paying the same as the non hot deal rate. $15 per person cart fee!
The course itself was alright. Most of the fairways and roughs were well kept but the greens were not in the best condition and led to some inconsistent putting.
Cold frozen ground
Not much too say nice course challenging but fair . Ground was frozen but I expected that . Balls just bounced off greens .it got warmer on the back nine so it helped thaw out . All in all good day
First timer
Great pace of play only two complaints the tees were the worse like playing from my front lawn and our cart was to slow sometimes we could't get up the hills. Will come back when the tees are ready to play like real tees should be not like my front yard.
