Great for February
Course conditions were a result of it being late February…new sand in bunkers is an improvement over last time I played there. Staff as always very friendly!
Good value
First time playing and was quite surprised. Very good conditions. Not very challenging but can get quite tight in spots. I would play again if the opportunity presented itself. Pace of play was quick considering lost balls in leaves and players searching.
Course Great Shape - Staff too Pushy
Course was in great shape! Staff needs to start backing off a little. It’s an issue every single time with all golfers because they stack tee times on top of each other. It became the talk of our round and when you’re hearing other groups talk about it, you know it’s a problem.
Great spot for the money.
Some holes are a little close but the whole course was in great shape. We ended up getting put in the middle of a small tourney that was playing and heard a few gripes from those players, but we told them the starter told us to go out, not on us. Great overall round though.
Fun course
Conditions were a little spotty with some crabgrass but overall I’m pretty good shape. The greens were nice. Interesting layout with quite a bit of trouble like grassy bushes and sand if you’re offline. Gold tee is quite short. We’d play it again.
Can’t beat a deal at The Wetlands!
I’ve always liked it. It is a bit back and forth in places, but I’ve found over the years playing here, it’s always worth playing for a hot deal. ( a couple times a year)
Friendliness has occasionally been an issue here, but not this time. Sorry I don’t remember his name, but he explained the new OB markers that are on the course very clearly, and joked that, yes, they look like road cones. Only about 4-6 inches in diameter and about 3-4 feet tall. Orange and a band of white on top, capped with orange. It does CLEARLY define OB. I like the idea.
It’s not called Wetlands for nothing. Some areas were very moist. I’ve found it’s always been fun to play with enough challenge to not get bored.greens were above average and the bunkers were above average for what I’ve seen in places.. Will come back again “When the price is right!!”
