.Aeration
Poor aeration process made the greens way too bumpy Pricing should have been even less due to that. Normal pricing is too high based on competition. Comparison to the Woodlands, Rattlewood, and even Waverly Woods (still too expensive).
Good course
Very solid public course that’s kept in good condition, a little pricey especially in the winter; rates didn’t drop much.
Loved it
Loved this place, skinny but fair and environmental areas are perfectly placed. Everyone was nice, my round of 3 people took 4hr40min so pace of play was a little slow.
Played in terrible weather - rain and 46 degrees (yes I am nuts). Course was fine but too difficult for an average golfer. Only got through 12 holes before hypothermia set in. They graciously gave each of us a rain check for half off the next round which was unexpected
In good shape overall
The fairways and greens were in very good shape. The rough was very high and there are several blind shots, which made it difficult to find balls even if they were just a few feet off the fairway. We golfed on a Monday so the rough is expected to be somewhat high, but not this bad.
Played this course plenty of times. This course is always aerating greens, fixing traps, etc. without telling and still charging full price (which btw is a more expensive one in the area). Pace of play is always terribly slow - expect 5-6 hours.
100% not worth the money
This is priced like a top level course when its beaten up like a good old municipal course. This should be MAX $60 for a weekend round to even be considered fair.
Pace is even worse than before
Someone decided to have the 18 hole golfers in the back 9 and the 9 hole golfers would be mixed in and start off 1. That just made a slow day slower and shows not much thought is being put into the decision making process.
Terrible Value
Paid $45 to play 9 at six in the evening. Below average conditions, especially for the price. Couldn't even finish due to pace of play.
Thank you for your feedback. Aerification is a necessary process and fortunately it's temporary. Our greens are healing nicely though we understand that some holes may have had some top dressing washed out from the large amounts of rain we experienced.
We hope you'll compare our Players Club pricing to the courses in the area and discover that our members enjoy prices and benefits comparable or superior to our competition,, even after massive improvements to the course and clubhouse. Thanks again for your patronage.
