Nice Public Course With Mediocre End
This is a good public course run by a county. The course is surprisingly well-maintained. There were some interesting holes in out-nine, but in-nine holes were rather short and none of them were memorable. Because of mediocre ending, I didn't feel myself satisfied.
This was a fun course
It is one of the nicer corses in Maryland. I enjoyed it. We played in the winter on a 60* day, so they were remaking some of the traps, luckly we didnt get stuck in them. Some tough par 5's Nice course all around.
Worth playing.
It's one of my favorite courses in the area. Played 11 Dec and the course was in quite good condition. What I like about the course it how it challenges virtually every imaginable shot one can take. One should use course management, bombs away, target shots, short clubs, long clubs, you name it.
Found the course to have a lot of blind shots and difficult pin placements
Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, course was very enjoyable to play, should pay close attention to pin placement due to undulating greens a lot of hidden bunkers that prevent shots from running up enjoyed the round
Would'nt pay full price! Gotta get the deal
Haven't played here in about a year. Conditions are suspect at times but wasn't to bad this time for November. Inconsistent fairway grasses [some bermuda some rye or something of the sorts] albiet playable. Tees and fairways not to bad and greens were in pretty good shape[lil' bumpy with alot of untended pitch marks, public golf go figure].[ I guess no one has ever seen them fixed on the tube either.] but not unputtable. Worth it for $22 deal.
very good for county course
Course layout has interest but plays very fair. Some rolling hills add to interest. No houses to worry about.
Enjoyable course!
It is a nice change of pace from the mostly flat courses near DC. Very friendly staff and a nice snack bar. The practice facilities are better than most - a green just for pitching is usually covered with enough practice balls that you don't have to buy any. The course is plenty wide to keep errant shots in play and the greens are challenging. The approach shot on the par five number nine is my favorite.
the course is fair
i think the course is fair and in good shape, what ever your level of play are, you will enjoy playing it, look forward to playing it again, thank you.
