Located a short distance from the Walt Disney World Resort and Orlando's airport, Hunter's Creek Golf Course offered a challenging game. It was the longest golf course in Florida and has been rated among the top 75 public courses in the U.S. The course winded through stately pines and thirteen lakes. The spacious, rolling fairways and expansive, undulating greens presented interesting challenges on the course. There were also many strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that come into play on almost every hole.

Rough Shape
Course seemed to have a cool design/layout, but it was in too rough a condition to appreciate. At least 4 greens were under repair so you were putting on fairway. Of those not under repair, half should have been. Friendly staff, but the course was in poor shape.
This course will be closing soon
Use to be great course. Lived in Hunters Creek area for 15 years but unfortunately it's closing. Check out Orange County National or Royal St Cloud... OCN has two 18 holes and Royal has three 9 holes
Neglected Creek
A good layout with no attempt at maintenance. Tee boxes and fairwars acceptable but greens were atrocious. More grass in sand traps than on greens. Even calling them greens is a stretch. Numerous " temporaries" that appear to be permanent. No sign of any repair work whatsoever.
Hard to un derstand why no $$ is put into this once fine course.I have seen better cow pastures.
Should not be on Golf Now.
We were in town for the week to golf. Picked some really good courses Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We decided to get one last round in Friday morning before heading home. We choose Hunters Creek. What a complete and total mess this course is. The greens were completey unplayable. Bare spots, actual weeds on the greens. 5 temporary greens that were literally just a flag in the fairway. It was the absolute worse course i have ever played and never seen a course in this much disrepair. honestly i dont know how this course is even open. Do not recomend this course ro ANYONE.
Dog track
I have no idea where the pictures of this course were taken. The course is in terrible shape from tee boxes to greens (browns). The greens were brown and full of weeds. There were three temporary greens abs the sand traps were disgusting. I think the ground crew quit years ago. On the plus side it was $24 with a cart for 18.
I’d rather pay more and play a nice course. Very disappointed.
poorly maintained course
The course is clearly not maintained: green is particularly bad without much grasses there, and there were even a few temporary greens in the fairway. The fairway is also poorly maintained with most of grasses dead. The bunkers are basically not playable. Will not go again.
Worst course in Central Florida
I’ll start with saying I’m certainly no pro handicap is a an 18. Here’s the summary: staff subpar, course is neglected , temporary greens on 4 fairways. If you can afford another $5-$10 for another course do it.
Worst Golf Course ever
Pay $15 but I should be paid to play in this pñace. Totally abandoned. we don't even finish just wasting my time and money. Go somewhere else don't waist your money here.
Paid less than $20. Enjoyed it.
Course is in pretty rough condition. Greens are a wreck. Some holes are in the fairway on temporary greens. If you're working on your short game, avoid this one, as you'll just get frustrated.
Overall, the layout was great. The course itself, if in better condition, would be spectacular. Variety of holes and scenery is gorgeous.
Staff was friendly. Pace of play was great, as I was a single (with the wife and kid riding along) and finished all 18 in about 2.5 hours without feeling rushed.
If you aren't too serious about your game and want to spend some time outside, this is your course.
Global golfer
They are going through extensive maintenance and upkeep. They have cut rough down and set up temporary greens on 4 holes. I hope their hard work and effort pays off in bringing this great layout course.
Course is not in good shape
The greens are bad very bad completely diseased or dead. The lay out is good but the fairways are mostly dead the the traps are hard as concrete
Hunters Creek in need of new greens
Fairways were good but most of the greens were in terrible shape and some were placed in the fairway. I played this course last year and it was in better shape. For me, it was a good place to practice and to see beautiful birds and scenery.
