Disappointed in St Michaels
No holes on water.
Pete only designed four holes
Put in front of a tournament playing from forward tees.Played in 3:50 but pressed whole time
The condition of this course was wonderful.
We had our annual golf outing here September 15, 2014. With 82 players and a format of a best ball scramble we finished in good time. The greens were in great condition and the Pin placements made the hole challenging. We are looking forward to our outing being held there again next year. As far as the staff, they couldn't be more helpful. As the organizer of our outing, they made my job so easy. I would highly recommend the Horbourtowne Golf Resort.
A hidden Gem
A great golf resort. Very good facilities. The golf course was in very good condition. The greens are great but are tough to read. The course is yardage is not long but it will test your skills. A lot of demanding and decision making shots. My wife & I highly recommend this resort for all golfers. The pro shop is very well stocked and the staff is very helpful.
Tip: Pay attention to where to hit your tee shots.
Look difficult but fun to play.
Old PD's designed, very interesting. Will not see railroad ties till 16th&17th hole.Front nines are open, back nines are tree-lined with beautiful pine trees.Definitely will return. We stayed overnite @the resort, loved it.
Nice course!
Course is in good condition, very smooth greens. Place was empty, my friend and I were the only people on the course on a Thursday afternoon in July. Range balls expensive, $7 for a small bucket as was the snack bar, $13 for a sandwich and a soda. Golf Now made it reasonable to play, wouldn't do it at the regular rate of $85, way overpriced for this venue.
Much less than we expected and hoped for.
Arrived early and presented our Golf Now paperwork. They had plenty of open tee times but because we were GOLF NOW they would not let us tee off before our appointed time. Understandable if they were busy but they were not.
Course conditions were mediocre at best .
Certainly not what i would have expected from a Pete Dye course.Very little evidence of Pete ever being here.
Lots better courses closer to home. Would not come back.
Nice course.
The course was not very long but it had some interesting and diffcult holes.
