The course was in fine shape the only drawback was the bunkers needed sand

The golf course is in excellent condition. I usually play this course once a week. At the present time, I could not be happier with the over all condition. The green are a bit slow, but I like them this way. I would recommend this course to all who play the game.

Purse needs some work but it's early in the season and they are trying to make some improvements. It is 16 of 25 on,most improved. I don't think,it has come,that far and,their regular rate is to high for the current conditions. I like the layout and hope they keep working on improvements. They won't get the revenue needed though as they are over priced at the current rate.

The course has a great layout. If they only could do something aout the patchy fairways a bare tee boxes. The greens are in pretty good shape although they tend to be on the slow side. The course is close to my home and the staff is great.

THIS IS WHY I KEEP COMING BACK, AND THE STAFF WAS AS NICE AS POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY FOR A PREPAID ROUND.

There was some good and bad to this course.

As far as the good, the greens were in fantastic condition. Additionally the staff was very friendly. I was also able to ride 18 holes in just over 3 hours.

Now, for the bad-the fairways were rock hard and just in overall bad shape. I played on a hot afternoon(low 80s) and there was no water anywhere on the course. All the cooler stations were empty. I was not able to finish number 10 as the sprinklers were watering the green when I arrived;this was at 2 in the afternoon on a busy day.
Finally, there were just some holes with poor layout, really seemed like they ran out of real estate and tried to fit holes wherever possible. This was especially true of the back 9.

I booked this round through a hot deal. I enjoyed my round, but if I would have paid the full price I would have been upset with the value provided.

Staff was very friendly and the layout is very nice. Unfortunately this course is in terrible condition. Tee boxes are awful - all dirt and hard to even get a tee in. The fairways are terrible; mostly dirt and a little patchy grass here and there. Surprisingly, the greens were in very good shape and running well. I guess the weather really did a toll on this course this summer.

The course layout is good. They just let the course go. Tees and fairways are I bad sale and most of the greens have dirt spots. Looks nothing like the pictures on the web

Played today at 7:12. Got there early and off on time. Tee boxes were in terrible shape. Ground was rock hard. Group in front of us was playing extremely slow. Starter said there isn't water in course yet because they didn't get to it yet. Fairway was in terrible shape. For $40 is rather pay the extra 35 and go to mountain branch or the wetlands. Disappointed overall.

I've been playing here for close to 20 years now. I love the layout and have fun playing the course, but the conditions seem to continue to deteriorate. The greens are in decent shape, which is really the most important part. Most of the fairways are decent but could use more seeding and some are barely shorter than the rough. The tee boxes on the other hand are abysmal. They look like the rough and few of them have flat enough areas to tee up from.

Prices are decent and it wasn't crowded so I was able to complete my round quickly with minimal delays. I will continue to play here on occasion but really hope the tee boxes get some much needed attention.

I played this course when it opened more than 20 years ago. Back then, you could hit the ball nearly anywhere and not getting trouble (except in the water, of course). The trees have grown up and now the course is much tighter than it was way back then. The white tees play at just under 6100 and the blue tees at just under 6500, so this course is somewhat short. The fairways are a bit sparse in places but it's the heat of the summer now and things have dried out a bit, perhaps leading to this condition. Being short, and with tees close to the previous greens, it's a great course to walk.

My biggest 'complaint' was the speed of the greens. I like faster greens and play courses that have greens MUCH faster than these. The greens here are like putting on a carpet, you can feel the cushion under your feet, and if you have a somewhat long putt you might be better off using a croquet mallet than a putter to get it to the hole. That's an exaggeration, of course, but they are on the slow side of area courses, maybe towards the slowest. The greens were also sliced this spring, not aerated, and the slice cuts are still evident. With the greens being lush, a ball traveling along these cut lines can get caught up in a cut and not follow the contours of the green on a green with minimal slope.

That said, the greens are very green and the grass is lush, so unlike some other courses that can burn up a bit in peak summer, there are no bare spots on the greens. They are also soft and will accept a ball easily. Shots hit onto the green will usually stay there and not bounce or run off. For the accurate golfer, this can allow for some aggressive shot making.

I enjoyed my round yesterday, though it was VERY hot and humid. The course was quiet so I was able to work on some things without interfering with other golfers. I was able to play at my pace, practice a few shots on the course and not worry about holding anyone up. Very relaxing.

The clubhouse personnel were all very warm and friendly. As someone that wasn't known to them, I was treated as if I was a regular and made to feel very welcome.

I will make the drive to play this course again, even though there are a lot of other courses closer to me, and I would recommend at least giving the course a try if you've never played it.

The course looks great. I try to play at least once a week. Keep up the excellent work.

Course has a nice layout but the fairways are pretty rough. The greens are nice looking and will hold a good shot. However, they were a little long when we played.

I only played the back nine on Monday,. The course was in excellent condition, as were the greens. The course was fairly busy, and was waived through on several holes, by a foursome. Thanks to the person who returned my PING Pitching Wedge to the clubhouse, as I left it on one of the back nine holes. I hope to play again on Friday, of this week.

Love this golf course. Fantastic shape, and challenging. Fairways were clean, greens were in good to excellent shape, and the tee boxes were very nice.

The course was probably in the best shape I have seen it in years! It was my third time playing the course this season and it has gotten better each time out! Looking forward to playing it again soon!!!

The tee boxes need to be completely redone, and the fairways need to be seeded. Not a bad course for the money, but it could be so much nice though.
